Today one of our staff was sacked so I had to come in earlier than normal, but not only that: my Mum came and helped out as well! She has never worked there before and I'm really impressed with how well my mum managed front of house all by herself!
One of my now previous colleagues kept on phoning in sick whenever the weather was sunny (like today) so she's gone and everyone else was either severely ill in hospital or in another country on holiday...so my boss had no choose to either ask and hope that on a whole my mum wasn't busy and happy to serve costumers for today or cancel me coming in and close the whole diner today, so it way just lucky that my mum was happy and willing to come in and learn how to do it 😂
We also took advantage of the glorious weather and had a BBQ. Dad got these lamb burgers with mint and they were so good! 100% recommend 👌
