It was just a normal day kids going to school parents going to work. As I was getting ready I could smell the savoury smell of bacon and eggs. My eyes were half shut so unable to see much I almost tripped down the stairs. When I got downstairs I could hear the news on the voice of the news reporter sounded terrified. My Mom and dad were watching the Tv very carefully. What I heard was strange.
"There has been an outbreak in an unseen or heard of disease" The news reporter said with a gulp at the end of her sentence.
I listened carefully to what she had to say and what I saw after was frightening. On the screen was a reporter on the street talking when all of a sudden she got hit! Not by a car but another human being or what I thought was a human. A couple seconds later the "human" stood up with blood and flesh hanging from its mouth. At that point I just stood frozen not able to say a word. After a minute I regain everything I saw my mom and dad running around trying to think of what to do. I ran to grab my phone and I called my friend Hannah.
When she answered I was relieved I asked her if she just saw what happened and she said yes. I told her to come over because we didn't live that far from each other.
When she got to my house she was freaking out slightly I couldn't blame her I was too. After we went to my room and locked the door we tried to get things thought out. When we heard screams coming from downstairs I grabbed a baseball bat that was hanging on my wall. I opened the door and walked out slowly with Hannah behind me. I went down the stairs to see my dad laying dead on the floor dead with blood everywhere. I wanted to scream but quickly Hannah covered my mouth.
After recovering we went a little farther I found my mom with a knife in her hand and an unfamilier body on the floor. The body was covered in blood and I new most of it was someone one else's. My mom stood there with a terrified looking face... she was frozen. I went and hugged her and she unfroze and hugged back tightly. I went and backed up and asked her what happened when all of a sudden my mom froze again and screamed. I turned to see what she screammed at and at once I froze to the sight I saw.
