That following weeks everything had been running normal. I was still thinking about Oscar's proposition; I could tell he was getting anxious and I wasn't making it better.

We've bonded in those two weeks. I'd come over and hang out with him. We talked a lot. I noticed that behind that mask of Spooky Diaz, leader of the Santos, was Oscar. It was like they were two different persons.

Ruby is asking for you

Catalina
I'll be there in 5

I grabbed my skateboard and walked out my house avoiding eye contact with any of the Santos, I skated to Ruby's house.

**
"What took you so long?" Ruby scoffed as I sat on the bed.

"So long? I said I would be here in five and I am. Chill." I placed the skateboard against the wall.

"Maniac," Monse whispered.

"What are we doing here anyways?" I asked noticing how they were sitting next to each other on the chairs.

"Waiting for Cesar" Jamal replied.

"I'm here!" Cesar exclaimed plopping down next to me.

The crew started talking at the same time overlapping each other. Cesar and I looked at each other confused.

"Yo," Cesar and I yelled.

"One at a time, I'm not following." Cesar chuckled and Ruby raised his hand. I nodded and he got excited.

"Sorry, it's excitement. We've been chewing on this the last two weeks. And it's finally time to move forward with a plan." Ruby exclaimed and I came to realization of what was happening. Cesar on the other hand was confused.

"A plan for what?"

"Getting you out of the gang." I pointed out and he laughed making me roll my eyes.

"You're serious?" He looked at them and Monse nodded eagerly. "Oh, my gosh. No! No, no, no, no. How could you let them go through with this Catalina?"

I scoffed, "you're blaming me?"

Cesar ignored my question, "there is no out. You're being naive. Once you're jumped in, you can't get out. Unless, you get jumped out, and that's not, you know," he looked away and I shifted in my spot, "an option."

"Why not?" Jamal asked intrigued as it seem like a possible option to him.

"They beat you till you die." I murmured looking at Jamal.

"Oh, I see your dilemma."

"Death isn't the only option. Ruby?" Monse turned to Ruby who stood up and got five binders.

"So, after copious amounts of research, I've formulated a theory that all great things come in threes: The Holy Trinity, primary colors, Destiny's Child." He gave me mine and I opened it. 'How much money did he spent on these?' I thought and shook my head.
