"I did it! I did it! I mean, it's done. I rocked that talk hard." Ruby said walking towards the guys and I shook my head behind him.

"And for a guy named Spooky, he's surprisingly jovial," he added.

"Wait, are you serious, Ruby?" Jamal asked incredulous.

"Ruben." Ruby corrected.

"Since when?" I joked and he flipped me off.

"And yes. Cesar's out the gang. Boom. Killed it." He clapped all excited.

"You did kill it. You killed it so hard that I got promoted." Cesar shook his head.

"No, Spooky and I had an understanding." Ruby said sighed disappointed and I shook my head confused. Where was I when this agreement went down?

"Just got a text, gonna start running for the Santos," Cesar gave us a half smile.

"No, no, no, no. That can't be true. He must be joking." Ruby's voice was filled with disappointment.

"Compa, I love you for trying, but like I said, this deal is done. And I don't blame you." He said looking at him. Ruby nodded.

"I blame Monse." He scoffed looking at her.

"Me?" Monse pointed at herself in disbelief.

"Yeah, you're the instigator and the frickin' honey badger. You don't quit. But now you have to. No more. We're done." Cesar shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"And so is 'Ruben.' I'm not man enough to bear that name." Ruby looked down and walked away. Jamal went behind him to calm him down.

"Don't look at me like that. This wasn't a one-woman show. We all came up with the plan. Right Catalina?" Monse asked and I looked up from my phone and nodded.

"I know it was you. All you. You should make it up to me." Cesar proposed and Monse rolled her eyes.

"Oh, I can make it up to you, papi." Jasmine appeared. "Just gotta make it fast. Jasmine has other offers."

"Take the other offers." Both Monse and Cesar replied.

"Yeah, okay." She turned and I stopped her.

"Bitch! I've been texting you! Why haven't you answered my texts?" I asked and Jasmine chuckled.

"I'll tell you tonight!"

"Sleepover?" I asked and she nodded walking away.

"Am I interrupting something?" The new girl asked looking at Cesar and Monse.

"Nope." "Nothing."

"Sorry, not trying to be weird," Monse apologized.

"But she can't help it." Cesar added jokingly.

"Olivia this is Catalina our favorite junior." Monse introduced and I shook her hand. She smiled warmly and I did the same.

"So, after school, you wanna hang?" Monse and Cesar asked her.

"Oh, I have plans with Monse." She gave him an apologetic look.
