Tea Gardens and Mean Cats

You looked around you, seeing people crowded on the small streets. You all were in Chinatown. Nothing much to do but look around, and get some dim sums. Your stomach grumbled.

"Can we eat now?" You groaned and held Jacks hand tighter as you all walked though the crowd.

Jack sighed. "Alright" Jack caught Wade's attention. "We're gonna eat early guys, see ya later". The others nodded and waved bye as Jack lead you towards the little restaurant. He ordered for you and got your food, sitting at a table.

"You sure do eat a lot" Jack laughed, watching you as you basically inhaled the food.

"Girls gotta eat what a girls gotta eat" You chewed "You still owe me a pizza" You pointed your fork at him. Jack laughed.

"I won't forget" Jack looked at you fondly. "Have you vlogged yet?"

"Nah, there isn't much to vlog left" You shrugged. "I finished early"

"So, uh, do you wanna do another video with me?" Jack asked. "Looks a collab, or something...."

You grinned and ate some more. "Of course" You continued to eat your food happily, sometimes chatting with Jack.

Jack on the other hand felt a little off. Not because of you, but because of the 'other Mark' as he and Mark called it . He still didn't know how someone could replicate a exact copy of Mark. He even felt uneasy when going back to the hotel yesterday. He could tell Mark felt it too but the others didn't. Neither did you.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when you started talking.

"So I've been thinking, there's this really cool place that's opened up so that anyone can hike and camp there, I was thinking if we and everybody else could go" You wiped your mouth with the back of your hand. Jack shook his head, taking a napkin and wiping your mouth. He gave you a knowing look but you meekly shrugged with a smile.

"Camping and hiking? I guess that sounds fun but-" Jack paused. Was it really a good idea for them to be out in the woods or forest? At night? With the 'other Mark' on the loose?

"But?"

Jack gave you a gentle smile. "I guess we should spend more time outdoors with nature" He didn't want you to be scared or worried about the situation so he kept quiet about it. "It could be romantic" He shrugged.

"Yeah, sleeping on the cold hard ground in the middle of the woods, so romantic" You rolled your eyes.

"You're the one that suggested on going" Jack laughed. "Or did you want to go just to eat marshmallows?"

"You still owe me pizza"

The next day you all were getting ready to go to the Japanese Tea Garden. You arrived at a wooden Japanese styled door. Beyond that, you could see wooden fences and tons of trees and plants.

"Oooooh, let's hope the tea is good" Wade said.

"Ugh, it taste terrible" Wade groaned and downed his cup of water.

"Taste fine to me" You said and took another sip. The little tea place inside the garden overlooked a little pond. It was calming, as you could see some fishes swimming about.

"Guess you're not a tea person" Felix chuckled. Mark suddenly held both hands out his side. Felix almost spit his tea out.

"That's old"

"They don't know that"

You and everybody else was confused but shrugged off Marks behavior. It's so weird by now that it's normal. You walked around and happily pointed out some structures and bridges. There was even a bridge that was so steep and anyone could still walk on it! Well, mot little kids because they would just fall into the water...

You climbed up and looked around you. It was beautiful, you could see the whole pond underneath and other people that were walking by, their head a mess of hairs. Well, except that one guy that's bald, there's not much going on up there...

Jack climbed up next to you and playfully pushed you. You yelped and shoulder bumped him. He laughed and went ahead of you. You rolled your eyes and climbed also.

You went through the garden, holding your camera as you record everything around you. Jack watched with a light smile on his face.

"Oh fuck!" Felix yelled as a squirrel ran past him.

"Don't worry, it's just a squirrel" Wade laughed. Jack and Mark joined in, you chuckling.

"Please, it startled me, that's all" Felix rolled his eyes. "Damn squirrels" He mumbled under his breath.

After that, everything was normal and nothing chaotic happened, considering the past few days, you would expect something to happen. The other three went to check out a cool structure while you and Jack kept walking. It was quiet and you welcomed the silence, humming a small tune that was in your head.

"Hey ______?" Jack asked. You hummed louder in response.

"So there's this really nice dessert place that opened a while ago, back at home, do you wanna go there when we get back?"

"Dessert?" Jack nodded. "Sure, we could eat after dinner at my place"

Jack smiled at you and pulled you closer to him.

"They have cakes, candy, cupcakes, chocolate, cotton candy..." Jack started to list the things that the dessert place had.

"Now your just making me want to go there right now" You said, smiling. Jack grinned.

You two kept walking, sometimes taking pictures or recording for a video. You passed by many ponds and statues, each one having a unique feature about them. All in all, the rest of the day was pretty chill. Sooner then you would've liked, you all had to go back to the hotel to sleep to get ready to go back home tomorrow.

The plane ride was normal, except this time there was this baby behind you that wouldn't stop crying. You couldn't sleep much and instead cuddled with Jack that was sitting right next to you. You eventually got some sleep, relaxing as his hand played with your hair.

You woke up with Jack kissing your temple, telling you that your back. You rubbed the tiredness from your eyes and got your stuff, moving out of the plane, into the airport, out the streets and back at home.

You sighed as you saw your cat laying on the ground.  Bob meowed, his cat ears moving up towards the sky. You smiled and crouched down in front of him. You opened your arms.

"Did you miss me?" You asked, smiling at your feline friend.

Bob meowed and got up, walking away to eat at his bowl.

You stood there, staring at the spot Bob was just laying at, your arms still in the air.

"Alright" You quickly said, standing up and dusting off invisible dust off your pants and glared at Bob. "I see how it is, maybe I won't give you those treats you like to eat for a whole week!"

Bob just lazily meowed in response and went to sit on the couch.

You huffed and went to take a shower, deciding to unpack after. Once you finished, you unpacked and put the suitcase away in the back of your closet. You went to grab your phone and checked for any notifications. There was one.

Sunday, at 9:00 for the dessert date ;)

You smiled and typed back.
