Pranks and Bears

You woke up to Mark shaking you. You groaned and opened your eyes, making sure not to be too loud to wake up Jack that's sleeping soundly next to you.

"What the fuck do you want?" You asked groggily.

"I got two air mattress'" Mark smiled excitedly. "There's a river near by, who do you want to prank?"

You grinned.

You grunted as you lifted Jack onto the air mattress, Mark doing the same next to you with Felix while Wade stood behind you two laughing. Luckily you and everyone else had bought extra clothes and some towels, just in case.

"One" Your hands gripped the air mattress. "Two" Your muscles started moving. "Three!" You and Mark pushed the two onto the river. They floated next to each other before splitting apart. You saw Jack move a little bit, holding his blanket tighter. Felix moved his hand into the water, not knowing what's going on but kept on sleeping anyway.

"How were you able to get two air mattress'?" Wade asked.

"I sneaked them, duh" Mark sassed. You smirked and took out your camera, humming softly and recorded them.

"It's going to be a great morning" You said to the camera and both the men standing next to you.

"Nothing like a cold shower" Wade laughed.

"Ooooh, this gonna be good" Mark snickered.

You three waited for a while before you heard groaning from both of them out in the water. Jack shifted around a bit before he suddenly sat up. Felix noticed his hand was getting cold and felt around, only feeling water. You three laughed at their scared faces.

Jack screamed and quickly threw his blanket off of him, Felix doing the same.

"YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" Felix yelled and laughed.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Jack screamed, his foot slipping and started flailing around. Felix and Jack both stood up at the same time.

"HOLY FUCK!" Jack screamed. "WHICH ONE OF YOU FUCKERS DID THIS?!"

You and Mark raised your hands while Wade snorted.

Felix slipped on his blanket and fell into the water while flipping you three off. You smiled sweetly at Jack.

"It was too tempting" You reasoned. Jack rolled his eyes and was about to say something when Felix's hand grabbed his legs, dragging him down.

"I'LL GET YOU BACK!" He screamed before diving head first into the water.

"You could try!" You yelled.

Jack and Felix shivered as the wind blew by their wet forms.

"What did we even do?" Felix groaned.

"Nothing" You replied. "We're your friends so we're supposed to do this stuff"

"But now we're all wet" Jack whines.

"Oh well"

Once Felix and Jack changed into dry clothes, it was time to go hiking.

"So, this is a camping place and a hiking place?" Wade asked as he looked at the map. You nodded.

"Great place"

"Alright, I guess I'll lead the way" Wade said, turning the map upside down then back to its original side.

"Are you sure we should let Wade lead the way?" Jack whispered to you.

"Don't worry, I have a extra map" you answered. Jack sighed.

"Good"

You all walked through the forest, looking at exotic plants and natural forms of the land. You crossed a bridge and even saw some fish swimming by.

"Ooh, a wood swing" You said. You call them that, but it's just basically a piece of wood hanging on a branch and it would be strong enough for somebody to swing on it. You quickly walked over there and tighten your hands around the piece of wood, stepped back and swing.

You all took turns, having fun pushing each other to see who could swing the highest. Wade even landed on his face when he accidentally slipped off, You even recorded and took a picture of that.

After that, while you all were walking, you heard a rustle near you. Your head snapped to the large bush that was rustling, the leaves slightly moving. You all stared at it as the rustling didn't stop. Your hand tightened on Jacks.

The rustling stopped and and suddenly, a bunny hopped out.

"Awwww" You crooned.

"AAAAH!" Jack screamed as he pointed at a bear that came from beside them when they were distracted by the bunny.

You all stayed quiet as the bears eyes looked at all of you. It didn't seemed threatening, just....staring.

"Hi" Mark waved. You let out a quiet irritated sigh.

"This" Mark pointed. "Is Felix, that's Wade" Mark pointed at you two. "That's ______, and that's Jack" Mark then pointed at himself. "I'm Mark"

You bit your tongue and held your tongue. You heard Jack took out four granola bars next to you. Really? Why four?

"What are you doing?!" You whispered.

"I don't know" Jack replied. He opened the granola bars, the plastic making a sound. The bears head looked after the sound.

Jack held out the granola bars and the bear took it in its mouth. Wade made a gagging sound, seeing the teeth.

The bear then went over to the bush where it originally came out of and three came out tiny cubs. You softly gasped and your eyes kept staring at the cubs. They're so small and chubby!

Jack wrapped his arms around you and let his head rest next to yours. The others then came to your side and watched as the mother bear have the cubs its snack.

You all stood there watching. You know that you should be leaving or running but everything seemed peaceful, you liked it to keep it that way.

"Hey guys" You whispered. The others mumbled a 'yes?'

"Picture time" You said and took out your phone. You turned around and held the camera out to fit all of you guys in the frame, including the mother bear and the cubs in the back.

Jack kissed your cheek and you were smiling, while Felix ruffled Marks hair and Wade flicked Felixs' head, telling him to stop, and look at the damn camera. You took the picture.

"So that was cool!" Mark exclaimed. "I didn't know we would actually see bears"

"Probably the closest I'll get to a bear" Wade sighed.

"I wish I could pet it without the mother biting my hand off" You whined.

"I think it's better to just watch" Jack chuckled.

"I wonder where was the father bear" Felix wondered out loud.

"Hunting fish?" Wade shrugged.

"Probably fighting another bear" Mark grinned. Wade sighed.

"Dang, we only have ten granola bars left" Jack said, looking through his backpack.

"It was technically your fault, you gave the bear four granola bars" You grinned.

"True"

The rest of the night was spending time with everyone, having fun and just goofing around and doing things that you all can't do while inside. Mark even jumped over the fire while you took the picture at the right time, while Wade was worrying for Marks safety in the background and Felix grinned. Overall, tonight was pretty amazing.

You only wish it could last forever.
