As Ashton, Hayley, Laura and myself got back to the table, he proceeded to tell them a funny story about something his little brother had did last week.

I had already heard it but, I still payed attention.

Not to the story..but, him.

He was just the definition of perfect in all honestly.

It was amazing observing his little details. I just watched as he would lick his lips every few minutes or how he'd play with his fingers and look down at them at moments. It's all about the little things and Ashton had many of them that made him even more irresistible.

"Emma?" Laura asked snapping me back to reality.

"Hmm, what?" I asked facing her.

"What did you think?" She asked threading her eyebrows together in confusion.

"About what?" I asked very lost.

"Um, The Fault in our Stars movie? Did you like it?" Laura asked probably a second or third time. I really wish Ashton hadn't noticed me staring but, he obviously did if he stopped eating and continued to shoot glances between me and my questioning room mate.

"Well, yeah. I loved it. I saw it with my friend back home. Great. Sad but, great." I smiled drowning my embarrassment into my bowl of chicken noodle soup.

"The food here actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be." Ashton spoke up examining his bowl.

"Yeah, it's alright I guess." Hayley finally spoke up.

"Wow, it lives." Laura sarcastically commented. "You obviously love it since you've been doing nothing but eating." Laura mocked her.

"Shut up." Hayley laughed hitting Laura lightly on the head.

"You two sure seem like you've been friends longer than just a few hours." I said smiling at the pair.

"And you two seem like you're dating but, I'm not gonna mention anything." Hayley said making me choke on the soup I was suppose to be swallowing.

"Oops. Too late. Sorry. Well, actually I'm not. Truth had to come out." Hayley said sticking her fist out to Laura to bump it.

Ashton just continued with his huge ass grin. It's like he enjoyed my embarrassment.

"Yeah, well, she is my baby." He said snaking an arm around my waist. Very sneaky.

"Aww! Ashton and Emmaaaaa!" Laura teased louder than she should have.

"Hey, Laura, shut the hell up or that soup will end up in other places than your mouth." I whisper-shouted

The table was quiet for a while until Ashton stood up and walked his tray to where we could dispose if our things.

Both my room mates leaned over.

"So? What happened?" Laura asked.

"Did he kiss you?" Hayley shook my arm.

"What did you guys do?" Laura waited.

"Did you fucking kiss or not?" Hayley asked.

"Nothing happened. We talked and no, we didn't kiss. It's not like that. Friends, just friends." I said relieving them of all their energy.

"Just wait." Hayley said.

"You guys will be a thing soon." Laura followed.

Ashton sat tight beside me and rejoined the table.

"You don't have to wait. I don't wanna hold you up." I said glancing at him.

"Oh, Emma. You're silly. You didn't think out adventure was over did you? It's not even close to curfew and I have things to show you on our free night." Ashton smirked.

Laura and Hayley both kicked me under the table causing me to smile.

Friends. I told myself. Just friends.
