"Ash, babe what is it?" I whispered to him while he still looked panicked on the phone.
"You're packing up the fucking house? Was this your plan the whole time?" He yell-whispered into the phone.
"Well, you know what. Might as well leave the shit in my room them. I'm not leaving." He said hanging up the phone.
"What the hell was that!?" I said nudging his shoulder.
Ashton quickly grabbed my wrist and pulled me out.
"My family is packing our shit and we're moving once I come back home after camp." He said threading his fingers through his hair.
"Ho-how far?" I was worried that after camp we would have to live with a long distance relationship thing. I don't even recall telling Ashton where I lived.
"An hour from our original location. Did I ever tell you I lived in Ranchston?" He said looking at the grass.
"No." I gulped. Ranchston was about an hour away from where I live. Fuck. He's gonna be two hours away from me.
"Well, now we're moving to Brooksbee." He said kicking a stone while walking onto the path.
"Ash." My heart dropped to what felt like my stomach. Brooksbee?
"Yeah?" He said in a low tone.
"I fucking live in Brooksbee." I said wrapping my hands around his waist and joining them on his back.
"Are you serious?" He questioned wrapping his arms around me.
"Yes! Oh my god. We aren't gonna be apart." I said into his chest.
"Holy fuck. I need uh-to apologize to my mom. This is amazing, baby. Oh my god.." He said leaning in and kissing me. It was so full of passion. Nothing rushed. Our lips moved in synch until my phone ringing quickly interrupted.
Hayley's contact appeared.
"Where the hell are you guys! I texted you both like 18 times. We're at the nurses, come quick." Hayley said hanging up without further explaining.
"What'd she say?" Ashton questioned.
"Basically nothing. Just come on." I said tugging his wrist.
--
We arrived to the nurses office faster than expected.
"What the fuck!" I yelled out of breath from running for 8 minutes.
The three were waiting outside. The guys were on either side of Hayley rubbing her back while her head was on her knees.
"Laura..she uh- she picked up some really terrible stomach flu while she went on a three day vacation in Spain so she was sent to the hospital in her town." Calum mumbled while biting his nails nervously.
I rubbed my forehead in panic walking to Hayley and pulling her into a hug.
"Em, every night this past week she was complaining about her stomach and we didn't do shit. We ignored it. What if something really bad happens?" She said a tear running down her face.
"Hayley, don't let this get you upset. It's not our fault. It obviously got to the point where she finally came to the nurse. We literally told her everyday to go to the nurse or that we would gladly take her but she declined." I said rubbing her back.
"I'm just- fuck. I feel bad. Sorry." She said whiping away the mascara.
"Guys, we can't really do anything. Let's just take a walk." Michael suggested holding out his arm for Hayley. Ashton soon doing the same for me.
--
We found ourselves in the forest. Nobody really said anything.
We were all sorta just miserable.
There was nobody here like Laura and she was not being replaced.
Ash and I were walking close together while Michael's arm hung loosely on Hayley's shoulder. Calum was beside hayley trying to make simple (yet very little) conversation to get her mind off of things.
"Fuck!" He screamed.
Ashton and I quickly turned our heads.
Our eyes widened.
