I made my way down the stairs to Ashton only to have him wrap his arm around my shoulder.

"My back is sore from that damn bed I had to sleep in." He complained wiggling around.

"So is mine." I frowned.

"I don't appreciate my mattress enough at home until I have to sleep on what is equivalent to a rock." He complained with his arm tightening around my shoulder. It made me feel safe. Happy.

Laura and Hayley stood behind us giggling like school girls and whispering so that we couldn't hear what they were saying.

"Shut up back there." I whisper-yelled to them.

Which made them peek up but they didn't listen so they immediately went back to their original whispering and laughing.

Ashton leaned into my whispered in my ear.

"Lean your head on my shoulder."

"Why?" I questioned back confused.

"Watch their damn reactions that's why." He said.

I slowly tilted my head leaning into Ashton. I felt him tense up a bit but relax after a second or two.

I heard the sound of a camera go off in the back which immediately made my head spin in the direction of my roommates. They once again started whispering.

"What the hell was that!?" I said.

"Oh, nothing." Hayley said casually slipping her phone into her pocket skipping ahead of Ashton who had froze in place with Laura walking beside her.

They ran into the mess hall to grab our table Ashton and I slowly following behind.

After we got our breakfast we headed back to out table. We sat by ourselves mostly and I liked it that way. I was happy with my small group of friends.

Laura and Hayley expressed their usual obsessions with Vine & The Fault in our Stars as Ashton and I sat back and watched them as their expressions changed and their smiles lit up. I love watching when people talk about things they love. Their passions are shown in the way their voice flows and how they smile at different points.

I was casually eating my bagel when Ashton leaned onto my shoulder rather than the other way around.

"Today's activities are hiking, climbing the rock wall and capture the flag. Which would you like to do?" He questioned. His beautiful hazel eyes locked into my simple blue shaded ones as he waited for my response. It was so easy to get lost in his eyes. They were so beautiful.

"Uh, hiking sound-sounds fun." I stuttered.

"Great." he smiled leaning back onto my shoulder finishing his toast.
