I walked into the mess hall with Hayley. I had never see it so pretty. There were actual flower arrangements on the tables and the wooden tables were lined with a white table cloth.
No sweaty teenagers were springing for pizza. Most we're seated at tables with dates on their arms or making causal conversations with friends.
A strong pair of hands grabbed my hips from behind making me squeal.
"God, that scares me every ti-." I was interrupted when my eyes scanned down my boyfriend.
The messy haired, band shirt wearing, skinny jeans loving boy was replaced with someone who had cleaned up.
His slight scruff had been freshly shaved, his hair actually brushed with the slighted touch of gel and his skinny jeans were replaced with a decent pair of dress pants pairs with a navy blue dress shirt (which coincidentally complimented my white and navy blue sundress I had picked for this evening.)
"Jesus, you look-"
"Over dressed?" he interrupted, raising his eyebrows.
"Sexy." I said smirking throwing my arms around him. He pulled back and spun he around with his hand.
"God, so gorgeous." he smiled. "I'm a lucky man."
"That you are." I smiled pecking him on the cheek and leading us to our table.
Michael and Hayley were caught up in conversation about how hot they looked. They trailed behind with his arm loosely wrapped around her waist. I was happy for them.

Dinner progressed slow. Calum didn't even show up. He had left the cabin after the boys finished showering without word. His phone and headphones were gone so the boys just assumed he wanted to skip and have alone time for tonight. It was now time for dancing and I wasn't sure how well this would go over.
1) I have two left feet.
2) I'm just awkward in general.
"Em, this song is great. Wanna dance?"
"What?" I asked over the loud music.
"Wanna dance?" he asked raising his voice.
"Ash, I'm a shitty dancer." I groaned.
"So am I." he asked taking his much bigger hand in mine as he dragged me to the dance floor.
I started off just swaying my shoulders as Ashton threw his hands up and shook his hips to the best of the song. I just giggled.
"You're such an idiot." I laughed squinting my eyes.
"You love it. Shut up." he giggled grabbing my waist.
We danced around for a little like drunk little kids and just laughed a lot.
"Ugh I love this song." I hummed into his shoulder as the mood slowed down.
"Ed Sheeran truly is an amazing artist. This is actually my favourite." Ashton smiled as Thinking Out Loud continued to slowly play in the background.
Ashton hummed into my hair as he pressed a small kiss to my shoulder. This was the stuff I'd miss. Not seeing him everyday wont be easy.
"God, I'm gonna miss you, baby." He mumbled.
"No. Don't say it like that. It sounds like you're leaving. Just tell me we'll see eachother. I've lost too many people in my life and you will not be one of them."
I frowned. I could feel my nose twitch and my eyes starting to sting.
Don't cry, Emma. God dammit, don't cry.
"I'll never leave you. You mean so much to me and I'm fucking in love with you. Two months and I'm in love with you. We'll see each other, I promise." He sighed.
"Good." I smiled weakly.
As the song ended, Ashton guided me back to the table. Hayley had her arms crossed while Michael was looking down.
"What's wrong with you two?" I asked.
"I can't dance and I uh-" Michael started
"He might have broken my fucking toe." Hayley sighed.
"Babe, I told you already, I can't dance for shit." Michael explained.
"I know, it just hurts." she pouted.
"Babe, I'm tried." I explained.
"Okay, let's go back. Come on." Ashton held out his hand.
