"What happened back there?" Hayley asked frantically. I was practically dragging her by her hand back to our cabin

"Well." I started off pulling out our key.

"You know how Ashton mentioned his ex once or twice who cheated on him?" I asked running my fingers through my hair.

"Uh-yeah I think so, why? She isn't here is she?" Hayley asked.

"Oh, no, no. Nothing like that. The only problem that floated to the surface is that Luke was the guy she was with." I said kicking the old door open.

"Are you serious?" She asked widening her eyes.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" I asked pointing to my expression-less face.

I was mad. No, mad isn't even a word to describe my feelings right now. I have no fucking clue what's gonna come up with this.

"So..what are you gonna do?" Hayley asked plopping herself onto her bed.

"Beats me..I'm sorta mad but I'm not really sure how I should feel. Who would I even get mad at? It's not Ashton's fault his girlfriend cheated on him but, at the same time, he never brought up the fact. He always also seemed to get upset at Luke for no apparent reason before we dated. Fuck. What do I even do?" I asked laying down beside me.

"I don't know, man. This is happening really fast." Hayley said.

All of a sudden, a knock was heard at the door.

"Em." Hayley whispered sitting up.

"Check the window." I whispered to her.

Hayley crawled over to the window really slowly and quietly so whoever was at the door wouldn't here a thing.

"Speak of the devil." Hayley said waking quietly back over to me.

I walked back over to the door and quickly locked it walking back to the bed.

"Em, baby. Please open the door. I just wanna talk." Ashton asked from behind the door.

"Don't say anything." I said whispering to Hayley.

"Emma, you can't avoid this forever." Hayley said back to me.

"I know. Don't worry. Just not today." I said tucking my hair behind my ear.
