Chapter 28

1 year later (shush not a word from you)

"Stand here for a sec, I'll be right back, I'm going to get something for you to drink"

Taehyung said, placing one hand on your stomach, giving you a kiss on the cheek, you just nodded your head, watching as he walked away, from the corner of your eye, you spotted the sweets aisle, and suddenly got a craving, groaning slightly, you looked back to where Taehyung had gone, his back now moving out of view.

"one treat wouldn't hurt, I'll be back before, he knows it"

You said more to yourself, as you started heading down the 3 remaining aisles, in order to get to the sweets one, arriving there, your mouth watered at the different types of chocolate, leaning over slightly, you were about to grab one, when you heard footsteps behind you.

"y/n, is that you?"

Turning around you came face to face with Seung, putting on a fake smile, you just nodded your head, you hadn't forgotten what he'd done, but you still forgave him, you figured you should at least, not hold a grudge against him.

"umm, hey~"

You said kind of shyly, Seung smiled at you, his eyes scanning over your figure, when he noticed the slight bump on your tummy, his smile turned into that of sadness, kneeling down on the floor, he placed one hand on your stomach.

"so you're pregnant now,  I see"

You didn't say anything, the sudden action, made you freeze in your spot, you and Seung didn't end things well with each other, back then when you arrived at work with Taehyung, holding unto your waist, everyone watched you guys walk in but no one said anything, the first thing you had to do, was talk to Seok and that's exactly what you did.

Seok oddly enough, didn't mind the fact, that you decided on dating Taehyung, he was actually all for it, which was weird to you but you didn't complain nevertheless, you continued to work there for about a month after before, Seok sent you to another one of his branches in Seoul, the one your brother managed, both you and Taehyung were transferred there, since then you hadn't seen Seung once, since he had moved out from next door and a new guy took over the house, seeing the way your next door neighbor jimin (Yes Jim was short for jimin) , fawned over the new guy, who you now came to know as yoongi, you already shipped them together (I needed someone yoonmin here, shhhh).

You came to find out soon after, that jimin was Taehyung's best friend, which was odd to you since, jimin had never once mentioned that to you before, none the less, you guys were never really that close, you never saw Yuna or Rae again, Cha still visited on the weekends,  just to see how big your stomach was getting, Seok had finally proposed to her and the wedding was in 1 month, you were more excited for them, than yourself.

Standing up back off of the floor, Seung tucked your bangs, behind your ear, with his index finger, one hand lifting up your cheek, he made direct eye contact with you, leaning in slightly.

"y/n, you know that baby, could've been ours"

Seung said leaning in closer, he kissed you on the lips, whispering something to you, pulling away quickly, when he heard someone calling your name from behind him, you stood frozen in place, Taehyung walked pass Seung and stood in front of you, holding up too bottles of juice.

"this one or this one?"

Taehyung said to you but, you couldn't really comprehend what he was saying, you were too focused on the figure that was now walking away from you guys, Taehyung called your name once more, making you snap out of your trance, you looked at him confused for a bit.

"let's just get both, yoonie is really putting up a fuss"

You said smiling softly to Taehyung, one hand rubbing over your bump, Taehyung just grinned his eyes lighting up with excitement, when he pressed one hand to your tummy, feeling the baby kick. Although you were smiling at him, one of your hands combing through his hair, as his head rested on your tummy, whispering sweet things to the baby.

Your mind kept replaying one thing in your head, the one thing you had dreaded to hear,  what Seung told you was instilled in your mind, it made you sick to your stomach, but slightly guilty, you didn't know why you were feeling like this, it's been so long, you were finally happy, so why now.

Those  words caused your mind to go into a sense of discomfort yet calmness without you even knowing, to your own dismay, he still had that slight hold on you, with those simple words.

"I still love you y/n"
