Hey you beautiful bunch of humans. I’ve written this on my phone thanks to my laptop breaking so I’m sorry if it isn’t up to scratch. I’ll probably go back and edit it at some point.

Oh just a side note – This book will be finishing in like, the next chapter or so. I hope you have all enjoyed it!!!!

ZAYN

“We didn’t even get to order food!” I hear Niall complaining as all of his guests get kicked out of the restaurant that we’ve all just been banned from. Myself, the boys and Ellie have all been bundled into the back area of the place due to the paparazzi outside.

I look out a small window and see Harry sitting outside with Liam who is trying to calm him down. It looks like its working, Harry is no longer pacing around like a mad man.

It was a bad idea coming tonight. Thanks Management!

I look over at Ellie, sitting on a crate of wine looking blank. My mind flashes back to the fight. I can’t believe that Harry fought her back. Although, given it weren’t fisticuffs, just a bit of shoving and hair pulling. So basically just a girl fight. Neither of them have any marks on them luckily. I don’t know who to be more pissed at really. Harry for his behaviour tonight, and touching my girl. Ellie for rising to his bait and starting a fight, or the rest of the guests for not jumping in sooner. Or why didn’t I jump in sooner? Why didn’t I just make us leave?

There are so many ways we could have avoided this.

“Can I still get some food, please?” I watch Niall stick his head out of the door asking a waitress who was walking past and she nods, scuttling off. “Please get me some food!” He calls after her.

“Get the fuck back in that room, Niall.” I hear Steve, a body guard outside the room. He shoves the door open wider and leans in the room. “I’ve settled the bill. Everything’s been paid for, all the glasses that got smashed, the chair Harry broke and a rather large tip to say sorry.”

“So can we leave, now?” Louis pipes up from where he is sat on a crate next to Ellie.

“Yeah, they want you to leave as soon as. And you aren’t welcome back.” Steve sighs. “Seriously, you lot. Seriously.”

“I am really sorry that this happened,” Ellie stands up from her crate.

“Save it.” Steve snaps at her and leaves the room, probably going to make sure we’ve all got a ride home.

“Harry’s calmed down.” Liam appears at the door having just come inside from being out with Harry.

“Niall, I’m sorry I ruined your birthday meal.” Ellie looks at him waiting for a response. It takes him a little while to look over at her but he finally does with a smile plastered on his face.

“You know what, apart from the fact that I’m starving hungry, I think it was bloody brilliant.” Ellie gawks at him. “You and Harry having a catfight; Priceless! Best birthday ever!”

“Hey, why don’t you all head over to mine and we can order some food in, or Ellie can knock something up.” I suggest, Ellie nods eagerly, desperate to make it up to Niall. “I’m going to speak to Harry quickly.”

I watch Niall, Louis, Liam and Ellie leave and make my way outside to where Harry is.

“I don’t know what the fuck just happened.” I sit down next to my tall friend on the floor and lean back against the wall like he is.

“I lost it.” He admits, shrugging his shoulders. “I don’t know what got into me. I couldn’t stop talking. I couldn’t stop those words falling out of my mouth.”

“I’m sorry that we came tonight. I should have told Management to forget it.” I start picking at my trainers.

“You had to. We don’t get much choice in these decisions, do we?” We stay silent for a moment. “Look, I shouldn’t have said half that stuff.”

I can’t help but laugh as I imagine the fight again. “I’m sorry.” I snigger. “That fight was pretty amazing.”

“Not really.” He says, although I can see him slightly smiling out the corner of my eye. “I shouldn’t have touched her. I should have let her push me and left it. Stupid me went and pushed her back. She’s a woman.”

“Mehh, this is Ellie we’re talking about.” I take out my packet of cigarettes, offering him one and he takes it, thanking me and we both light up. “It’s not like she can’t handle a fight, is it now?”

“So Ellie did have an abortion?” He questions. Ah crap. We’d totally denied that and now Ellie went and confirmed it by getting the hump when he said about it.

“Kind of.” I mumble.

“Kind of? I didn’t mean it, you know.”

“I know you didn’t mean it Harry. I’m sorry we’ve ended up here. I’m really sorry Harry. You’re my best mate, my brother, I really honestly didn’t mean to hurt you. If I could go back,” I plead with him, desperate for things to go back to how they were.

“You’ve said all this before, Zayn.”

“I know. There’s not much else I can say. I’ve been an A class prick.” We fall into a silence that isn’t quite comfortable but it isn’t awkward either.

“Oh for fuck sake, Zayn. Can you just hug me please?” Hug him? I do as I’m told and gingerly put my arms around him and he leans into me.

I’m not new to this whole hugging thing, we’re an affectionate group of friends, but it just seems a bit of a strange time for him to want me to hug him.

“I’ve missed you, Harry.” I blurt out.

“I’ve missed you too, Zayn. Can we make up?” I hug him tighter.

“Yes. Yes, Harry.” We hug for a minute longer like a pair of girls, his hair tickling my chin but I’m totally okay with it today. His hair can tickle my chin all it wants if it means we are friends and all is forgiven. “The others went back to my house to eat. Why don’t we head back so that we don’t miss out on any food?”

“Sounds lovely.” We both scramble to our feet like gangly idiots and make our way indoors to wait for a car.

Don’t you just hate it when your characters completely change :-/
