Hyebin followed Yeonwoo to her room. She only talked after she went in and shut Yeonwoo's door.

"I was with you the whole time. Why the hell don't I remember you talking to the headmaster and what paper exactly is it that you were talking about?" Hyebin enquired crossing her arms.

Yeonwoo took her water bottle from her study table and chucked down the whole content.

She avoided looking at Hyebin as she took a blank sheet of paper from her paper stack and stood by the door, clutching the doorknob.

"ya, Lee Dabin. I am talking to you!" Hyebin yelled.

"Hyebin na, please. Just please leave me alone.", Yeonwoo said and exited the room.

Hyebin did just the opposite and followed Yeonwoo all the way down and at the back of the building where Yeonwoo sat at one of the many wooden benches.

Hyebin followed suit and sat on the same bench.

Yeonwoo briefly looked up at Hyebin and then diverted her gaze to a spot on the ground.

They stayed in silence for several seconds.

"Why are we here?" Hyebin asked.

Yeonwoo chuckled.

"no, Why are you here, Hyebin? I told you to leave me alone."

"Yeonwoo ya, don't be like this. I am here because I care about you and I have been noticing a change of character in you. whats wrong?"

"I don't know what you are talking about," Yeonwoo said and played with the paper in her hands.

"Dabin, enough! Why did you lie?" Hyebin asked turning sterner by the passing moment.

Yeonwoo hesitated for a while.

"I am just tired, okay?" She replied.

"Like you would go all the way making up a lame excuse to stop playing bottle spinning game just so you can come out here and rest? yep, I get it."

Yeonwoo laughed and playfully slapped at Hyebin.

Hyebin was not reciprocating her action.

"Stop it Yeonwoo just tell me whats wrong," Hyebin asked looking right at Yeonwoo.

"You look scary," Yeonwoo said and laughed again.

"Its Nancy, right?" Hyebin asked.

"What? Nancy? What about her?" Yeonwoo asked.

"Stop trying to play dumb, you dumbass, You are acting so strange since that kid came along."

"No, I am not. I have always been this way. You just weren't paying much attention to my behaviour until now."

"Oh really? Then try explaining that sheet of paper when you were paired up with Nancy at the game?"

"Oh, this?" yeonwoo said looking at the sheet.

She made an airplane out of the paper and flew it across the ground."

"You are so difficult," Hyebin said sighing.

"Alright. Hyebin, I don't like that Nancy, okay? I don't know, she is so fake. Ever since she came here, you are all always talking about her. I am getting tired of hearing everyone at school talking about her. I mean why does being half American have to be so special? And she is just always trying to get everyone's attention. "

"wha-" Hyebin tried to say something but was cut off.

"I am not done. And everytime someone compliments her, she is like "you are pretty too" like, she is freaking always echoing all the compliments, compliments that she doesn't even mean. And that fake smile is like a cherry on top. I don't get why you people find her so endearing."

"Are you done?" Hyebin asked.

Yeonwoo just stared at her.

"You are jealous of her, right? That is so freaking obvious and cute and juvenile." Hyebin told her, laughing.

"Excuse me?" Yeonwoo said.

"Now I know. Wow, it must have been really a big headache for you. I mean she is new and getting so popular, you are just afraid she is gonna beat your popularity."

"what no!" Yeonwoo denied.

"I don't care about my popularity." She said.

"Yeah, like I would believe that," Hyebin replied.

She got up and helped Yeonwoo up on her feet.

"Just don't hurt the poor kid because of your stupid jealousy okay? And she is not sugarcoating everything she says."

Yeonwoo rolled her eyes at that.

"And your eyes must be severely damaged if you think her smile isn't heartwarming," Hyebin said.

"It's not at all heartwarming to me" 

"You can deny all you want, Yeonwoo" Hyebin said.

"Alright, her smile is cute," Yeonwoo admitted.

"see, I knew it" joked Hyebin.

"lets race to our rooms on the count of three."

"No way, you know I don't do that anymore. This is not middle school Hyebin." Yeonwoo said laughing.

"You are no fun". Hyebin complained.
