Earth's Tilt

30 14 16

Eyes see

    the soft hint of change

A shift

    of green leaf color

Skin feels

    a coolness that's strange

My mouth

    stifles a holler

Summer

    is drifting away

Flowers

    of summer will fade

Earth's tilt

    will temper sun's rays

New hues

    will sweep over glade

Doleful

    to see summer go

Dead blooms

    beat hard on my chest

Will miss

    alfresco day flow

Earth sighs

    as plants go to rest
