Oh, nature please give me release
Give me a view to end this stew
My pain is deep, my soul still weeps
I cannot shake my inner ache
Please hear my words and send wild birds
To eat birdseed with urgent speed
Let bird song reign to end my bane
Melodic trills my soul distills
Let my eyes fetch a bunny's stretch
A furry guest taking a rest
Under a bush where green shoots push
He shows no fear that I am near
Warm breeze a kiss for mind's abyss
That lifts my pain to help it drain
Ensnare bad thoughts that pain has brought
Whip pain away and end it's stay
Create a play on sunny day
Watch gray squirrel race, a treetop chase
As tails whip round, they race to ground
Hear leaves rustle as they tussle
A purple finch, a peanut pinch
First time he's near, he's lost his fear
A trust I've earned through patient yearn
Some change comes slow, no easy flow
As my heart fills from nature's thrills
And soul renews with nature's views
My mind turns wheels, my soul will heal
As nature guides and turns pain's tide
