Sunlight grows dim
Hear thunder rumble
Escape to deck
To let thoughts tumble
A few wet splats
Then dark clouds release
A hissing storm
To disturb heat's peace
Alarm calls pierce
Through storm's hissing rain
What do birds see
From their treetop lane
Raindrops slow down
Then storm's hiss returns
Wind whips and swirls
Watch green tree boughs churn
My thoughts slow down
As I sit and be
Nature's chorus
Sets churning thoughts free
Just for awhile
I let worries fade
As I listen
To nature's parade
