Meanders thought my garden beds
Orange and black traveler flies
Nectar prober of flower heads
Angelic wings capture my eyes
Racing from country to country
Challenges don't halt your long trip
Harbors in Mexico's fir trees
Bunched together with a firm grip
Unity part of survival
Together they keep themselves warm
The spring ends winter revival
Eager to escape winter swarm
Race to find mates and the milkweed
Fasten eggs, hatch caterpillars
Life cycle moves forward with speed
Your life, one of nature's thrillers
