Cold...
So Cold...
There was nothing though...
No wind, No-actually, anything
He felt cold but it wasn't any normal chill, it was just the presence of cold that he felt that he needed to get used to.
It was as if his body temperature was non-existent, but the cold was still enough to bother him.
He didn't know where he was. It was both dark and bright at the same time, like two prominent forces clashing with each other.
He looks at himself, scorched and burned skin appeared in his vision. What happened? He wondered. It didn't hurt but it was a scary thought. He looked at his skin again, it seemed to glow a light blue colour.
He screamed and fell back, 'No...NO!'. He studied the fundamentals of death and read about interviews of people who died briefly but came back, they all said that there was some type of blue light but they didn't know where.
He held himself, scared, confused etc. On top of that, he couldn't remember his name or how he died. He still didn't know where he was or what he was going to do. He assumed the fetal position and cried.
He wouldn't do this normally but this situation was beyond detrimental. Maybe it was better this way, whatever he did while he was living was probably unimportant and forgettable. He'll just lay here in this corner for all of the rest of eternity and nobody will have to deal with him.
"Korekiyo."
He lifted his head and looked around. Who's Korekiyo? What's that echoing voice?
"Korekiyo Shinguji."
He covered his ears, it was probably some kind of illusion due to... some type of trauma, maybe. He doesn't know what's going on anymore, none of the studying he did over the years could prepare him for this.
"Korekiyo... please if you could hear me just say something!"
He stood up, a sudden burst of confidence coursed through him like warm water... warm... he felt warm when he stood up. Was it the voice? Was it making him feel this way? He didn't know what will happen beyond this point but nothing could be worse than this.
He looked up, a white light with a hint of light green pierced through the ceiling, Was it heaven? He didn't know but he wouldn't know unless he got up there.
As if it was coincidence, he felt his feet leave the floor slowly. He tried to fly as if he was swimming through water, graceful yet untamed like a ribbon dancer. He didn't look back as he floated up faster and faster.
The white light was right in his face, so bright it was almost blinding. He stretched his arm through it, expecting the warm feeling the voice gave him.
It wasn't, it was freezing cold.
He felt something grab his arm as soon as his hand reached into the light. He tried his hardest to escape but it was almost impossible, 'How could he be this stupid?' Wherever he's going whether it's hell or heaven, it might be better than what was in this void of a space.
The thing gripping his arm pulled him halfway into the false light, he closed his eyes and waited for his potential judgment from the gods then to be forgotten by everyone he knew, and no one there to tell his short-lived story.
"Get back! No touching the Voided!"
A green light flew up and grabbed his free arm and pulled him out with ease. He then forced his hand into the light, the light shrinking the longer he had his arm in. The light completely disappeared and the green light looked back at the very much confused ghost.
