"Oof, cya."

"I'm just visiting Saihara for a few hours, just so you're less bothered. I'll return during the evening hours."

"Alright ly."

"You have a habit of using abbreviations for some words. I'll allow my assistance if yo-"

"After, bye!

Rantaro closed the door harder than he intended but he was too excited. After many years of hard labour from balancing 3 minimum wage jobs at once, his lifelong dream is about to be complete.

He ran up to their room and pulled out the boxes, 10, 20, 30... 100 boxes filled with his soon to be robotic friends, Kiibo would be both proud and disappointed. Mostly disappointed, though.

Rantaro aligned them in rows of ten, already feeling like a king. But there was one question

"How do I set up a Roomba?"

He took out his phone and googled it. He was definitely not going to be able to set them all up by the time Kiyo comes back and he was definitely not going to be impressed if he does.

"Maybe I can call someone... maybe Kirumi! She'll know about this type of stuff."

He dialled Kirumi, her voice damped in disappointment but still in agreement. Rantaro ran into the kitchen and grabbed a knife and started to open the boxes.

But barely 30 minutes in, Kirumi was already knocking on the door. He quickly went to answer, already placing the knife in her hands and leading her into the living room.

"Kirumi, this is important! Please help me."

"I already agreed to assist you, that is my job as the Ulitmate Maid. Do you need me to help you open these boxes also?"

"Yes and with setting them up."

"For your quote on quote 'Roomba Army'? "

"Yes and before Kiyo comes back. I want to hide them before then."

Kirumi nodded and worked on the boxes while Rantaro went to retrieve another knife. At this point, nobody can stop him.

4 Hours Later

The living room was finally clean with the unused boxes in garbage bags in the dumpster and the Roombas bound to their new master.

Rantaro was in awe at his newborn, robotic children moving around and cleaning the little bits of dust left behind from opening the boxes.

"I can't thank you enough Kirumi."

"Don't thank me, I'll be taking my leave. "

Kirumi proceeded to leave but stopped in the middle of opening the door.

"If Shinguji does find out, do not include me in your list of accomplices."

She left as Rantaro nodded silently, confirming her disassociation with his project. He moved his Roomba children under their bed upstairs, they'll be more than useful to him in the future.

I'm sorry that it's short but I'm both proud disappointed in myself for writing this. It's canon in my mind now and no one can tell me otherwise.
