"Good morning, Rantaro. You should've informed me before coming here." Korekiyo yawned and invited him inside.
"I couldn't leave you alone after last night. You're my accomplice in this."
"I could understand your concern but I've done something like this before. I doubt that we would be caught." Korekiyo said as he made tea for the both of them.
"Wow, my manager is a murderer?" Rantaro laughed at his hyperbole.
"Well now I am. I thank you for that." Korekiyo said sarcastically.
"You're ever so welcome." Rantaro continued as Korekiyo handed him the cup of tea.
"But in actuality, why are you here? I love your company but this was really sudden." Korekiyo blows on his tea as a ghost of a smile was present on his face.
"Just needed someone's presence, that's all." He takes a sip of his now warm tea and smiled at the abundance of sugar inside.
"Is that so?" He took another sip, "I wouldn't mind accompanying you for the day."
Rantaro routinely blushed and laughed, "Who said that?"
"Me of course. You require my presence to feel emotion so I'm offering myself to you for the day. Is that not what you what?"
"Isn't that a bit of a stretch?" He chuckled and drank the rest of his tea.
"Not at all. If you were to approximate something, it would be more efficient to guess the most realistic but highest estimate there is, yes?" He picked up their empty teacups and started washing them.
"I guess but in my case, it isn't emotion in general, it's just my more prominent positive emotions."
"My research skills have failed me this time it seems. I'll get ready as soon as possible then." Korekiyo sped walked to his room as he left Rantaro in his living room.
Ever since yesterday, Korekiyo used whatever knowledge he had about the human brain and psyche to come up with an accurate diagnosis for his specimen. He laughed for embarrassing himself, his face turning hot.
'Emotions are such fickle things, ' He thought as he met up with Rantaro again.
"Are you ready?" He asked as Rantaro nodded. They left promptly and Korekiyo forgot to ask Rantaro for their destination. He kept quiet as they entered a subway.
"Is our destination that far away?" Korekiyo asked as the bustling subway lobby sounded the white noise around them.
"From your house it is. It would take about 2 hours to get there now." Rantaro sped walked to their train.
'We can sleep on the train in the meantime, ' Rantaro thought.
The huge influx of people trying to get on the train almost separated them but they somehow got inside and get seats together in the process. Rantaro already prepared himself to sleep as Korekiyo started reading his book again.
An hour passed and he learned that Rantaro snored loudly when he sleeps right side up. Korekiyo tries his best to angle the other's head away from his ear but accidently dropped his head on his lap.
He gasped at the forceful impact and quickly repositioned himself on Rantaro's own. His own face turned dark pink and he covered it with his book.
'How could I blush because my specimen? Do my feelings betray me? Does his obsessive behavior have an effect on me?' He took his head out of his thoughts and continued reading. Their relationship would only grow if he allows it, and he knew that well. Rantaro's own polite personality and Korekiyo's impassiveness for nothing but his personal gain allowed this line of love and the parasitic relationship they have for the other's presence in any way, shape, or form.
