Rantaro and Kokichi were quietly chatting in the cafeteria, Angie is praying on one of the unused tables, Kaede is explaining the history of sheet music to Tsumugi while the others were in their rooms.

It was very unusual for everything to be this peaceful for their class. Usually, someone was trying to kill someone from their own class or from another one. One time, Tenko broke Souda's jaw for talking about Sonia in an 'impure sense' when he just complimented her.

All of the classes are weird in their own ways.

Rantaro chuckled at one of Kokichi's jokes, the smaller grinning in amusement. They have an unexpected bond between them as a big brother, little brother relationship. People actually expected them to resent one another but they ended up being like second family for each other.

Rantaro peered at his watch, it has been 3 hours since Korekiyo came back. Even though it wasn't that long, he couldn't help but worry slightly.

"Is our conversation boring you, Ran-chan?"

That slightly caught Rantaro's attention.

"About who?"

"You and Korekiyo, your relationship is talked about all over the school! Even the Reservies talk about you guys."

"Spilling tea is gossiping about others without the people in question present."

Kokichi huffed and crossed his arms.

"Fine! I'll know when Korkie comes back."

As if Kokichi predicted the future, Korekiyo walked to their table with a bouquet of green flowers and thin, crusty, red streaks on his face.

"I bought this for you, Rantaro. I even engaged someone in combat for the last one."

He laid the bouquet on the table and sat across from them. Rantaro picked up the bouquet and held his arms around it as if he was hugging it.

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate it."

Korekiyo closed his eyes and gave a small smile

"You are very much welcome."

Rantaro was too into the moment to realize something.

"Didn't Korkie say he had to fight someone for that? That's so cool~!"

Rantaro widened his eyes and pulled down Korekiyo's mask, checking for injuries.

"Oh my god, are you okay? Hurt? Do you have any cuts or bruises?"

"I stopped by Tsumiki's office before I got here, so I'm fine."

"There's some red stuff on your face."

"That's probably dried blood, I'll wash it off later."

"Just please don't get into any more fights, I don't want you to kill anyone else."

Korekiyo nodded in understanding as Rantaro sat back down.

"No wonder you were avoiding the question, you guys are TOTES canon."

"You're acting like you're not crushing on Shushi."

"And no one else would know until I confess, then I'll blurt it in everyone's faces every 4 or 5 seconds."

Korekiyo and Rantaro both raised their hands

"Fuck you too then."

Kokichi smiled

"Back to our original topic, Y'ALL ARE CANON AND THAT'S BEAUTIFUL."

With that, Kokichi got up and made his way to his dorm.

"When will we though?"

"Maybe when a special event is ongoing, by then at least our class should know."

"Alright, let's get back to our rooms."

Korekiyo nodded as they both walked back to their rooms.

"Atua was right!"

"I need to update my boards, what a beautiful day!"

"I need to craft a song for their wedding! I'll be the first one there."

Unfortunately, three individuals caught a big chunk of their conversation.
