This morning felt warm unlike the others. It wasn't too hot or cold, just as warm as snuggling under a sheet in winter.

Rin woke up but kept his eyes closed, seeing the ray of light projecting from his face from the opening in his wall he called a window. He opened his eyes slightly to see a sight that could've made him faint.

The sun glinted off of Korekiyo's face like a spotlight, belonging to him and him only. It was like every little thing made the person sleeping in front of him even more perfect, like the iconic Mona Lisa, still wet after layering it with a fresh coat of paint.

It was a horrid shame that he was going to smudge it. It was entirely up to the fates to judge whether it was a small smudge or a large one.

Rin felt that he deserved any type repercussion anyway.

He slowly shut his eyes and opened them again, trying to adjust to the glare on his face before ultimately sitting up and leaving his already warm spot on the side of the bed.

Rin covered Korekiyo with his side of the sheets and started preparing to go outside. It was indeed as warm as Rin expected, maybe the season has changed. Rin didn't keep track of dates anymore anyways.

He felt something crawl on his naked arm before smacking it, a squished corpse of a mosquito laid wet on his palm. He sighed in annoyance and continued on his way to the oh so glorious river that it seemed as of yet.

When he jumped in, sweaty and awaiting, the feeling of warm water uncomfortably washed over his body, like turning on a perfectly warm heater in a warm room. He slowly elevated himself from the body of water and put his clothes back on, which also turned warm from sitting on a hot rock unbeknownst to him.

He made his way back to the cabin before bumping in Korekiyo, a warm, almost happy aura around him.

"Morning, the water's warm. I wouldn't mind looking for somewhere else nearby."

"I thought you would've known the important locations around here, Mr. Gentleman Thief. Are you saying you haven't by any chance?" The taller crossed his arms, seemingly annoyed.

Rin widened his eyes, his assumption being outrageously wrong, "I just woke up, have I offended you by any chance?"

"No, it's just a little chilly for my liking in this sunny morning. Sorry if I offended you," He let his arms droop in a guilty slump.

"Ah, it's alright. I'm kinda uncomfortable also, just for opposite reasons. Anyways, I feel like a search party has to be put into action," He adjusted his mask as he smiled.

"Actually, that won't be necessary. The community pool should be available via the change of seasons."

Rin shifted his heels unknowingly, radiating nervousness at the fist thought of the plan,"There might be a discrepancy between our... issues and that plan."

"Let us sneak in, then. The pool is most likely empty because of how early we wake up; besides it's indoors, which means that it's most likely cooler than the river, also, by this being successful, it puts your unused skill set to good use."

It all seems too simple. When he plans out his heists, he starts weeks before to make each one as successful as the last. Having twenty successful missions wasn't something he would mess up so willingly.

Then again, this wasn't a grand heist he was comparing it to, it was merely a pool.

"Oh, mischievous I see. When did that happen?" Rin placed his thumb and forefinger under his chin, smirking with lighthearted contempt.
