"Does anyone know where the ouija board went?" I asked around. Kirumi handed him the box, eyes glowing in distress. Even with the help of Kiibo and Maki, it didn't help the bags under her eyes and she was even reluctant for them to help in the first place.
"What happened?"
"I found it in Ouma's room and now I'm afraid for our future."
"I'm sure he followed the correct safety precautions. He doesn't forget things that easily."
"I don't trust him but if you say so then I'll take your word for it."
"Thanks, I'm gonna start communing!"
"Good luck with that."
Turn off the lights, light one or two candles and place you pointers on the glassed piece. It was a pretty simple process for summoning something that was indeed otherworldly. To be honest, no matter how many times I do this, my anxiety levels just double on the spot but I guess it's just human instinct.
"How was your day so far?" I asked
"You know you can talk to me through the hand mirror, right?" His voice sounded through my pocket.
"This is cooler in my opinion."
"But you are more susceptible to unleashing other otherworldly beings other than me."
"But... Dramatic..."
"No, safety first."
"Fine."
I said goodbye to whatever spirit that tried to communicate with and took out my hand mirror, Korekiyo's transparent face visible in the glass.
"I wish that was my face."
"Well, I hope your dream comes true soon."
"Can you take me flying later?"
"Why not?"
"Thanks."
I closed the mirror and handed the ouija back to Kirumi. With a 'thanks' and a relieved sigh, I returned to my room to finish the remaining homework I forgotten about. The silence was boring me to death.
"Hey Kork, can you turn on some music?"
The radio turned on and shifted to a softer song, which was actually very pleasant.
"You're the best."
"It's nothing."
After about 3 hours, I put the papers and books into my bag while Korekiyo presumably turned off the radio. I walked to the commonplace (Main Cafeteria) and sat at an empty table in the back, pondering the amount of people in here. I could do something with this.
"Didn't you say I can go flying?" I whispered to Korekiyo.
"I know exactly want you're thinking and I'm already against it."
"It'll be a little prank! C'mon, lighten up a little!"
"If it was with the other Ultimates I'll consider but they're just Reserve Course students. I assure you that they do not believe in ghosts."
"Then make them believe." Korekiyo's body was just visible to me at the moment.
A shadow was present over his eyes, flitting from left to right in confliction. As someone who was born a ghost, normal people not believing that his kind existed bothered him slightly.
"I guess... I could 'lighten up', just this once."
"You just have to carry me around, nothing serious."
"In the case of a heart attack, you are paying their hospital bill."
"Have fai-WOAH!"
Korekiyo carried me by the waist and flew me around the cafeteria. Screams and laughter sounded around the cafeteria beautifully until they started taking out their phones to record the strange phenomenon, luckily the ceilings were high enough to not show my face.
After a few minutes of flying around, Korekiyo flew me out of the cafeteria and retreated me to my room and sat me down on my bed. He became visible again sat on my Danganronpa 47 carpet with a visibly perturbed expression.
"I will admit to not thinking this through beforehand."
"And I will admit to not wanting to be here anymore."
"I didn't anticipate that reaction, sorry."
He sighed, "It's fine, I just suggest you not go into the main cafeteria until
... approximately 2019 or later.""That sucks."
"You should've played it safe and asked for something subtle."
"OK, but flying near the ceiling was your fault, in my defense."
"I'll admit to that but you DID say flying, not hovering slightly above the ground."
I sighed in slight defeat, "I give up." Then laughed at my joking response.
"I'm not mad, just disappointed."
