Shuichi looked at his door, expecting nothing because it's Kokichi.
But he was so wrong
Everyone was holding up a giant cake with black and white frosting coating every inch with Oreos on the sides. On the top was a magnifying glass which was under a helipad looking surface with a S in the middle. The cake was also decorated with whipped cream on the very edge of the cake and a few sprinkles strategically placed on edges of the cake.
It must've taken weeks to prefect that cake.
Shuichi shifted to the edge of his bed, tears begging to be free but Shuichi held them in.
"To our favorite degenerate detective!"
"Tenko, that's not very nice nyeh~"
"Sorry Himiko... "
Everyone set the cake down on his coffee table and pushed it in front of Shuichi. Shuichi potential sobs turned into stray tears falling down his cheeks, his throat getting a little sore too.
"Happy Birthday Shuichi!"
Everyone gave him bags of gifts and birthday cards, each one perfectly encapsulated each and every one of their unique personalites.
'P.S If you and Kokichi fuck, send me a tape. '
And of course Miu
Everyone grouped around Shuichi and hugged Shuichi, the amount of love that radiated from the hug was absolutely unfathomable. If someone walked by, they would mistake them for a bunch of orphans that consider themselves a family.
"Happy Birthday the to bestest boy!"
Kokichi snuggled into Shuichi's chest and kissed his cheeks.
"Thank you, everyone."
