"We're going to get some outside help for this one." You said out loud to the team."From whom?" Steve asked with skepticism of involving an outsider in the mission.
"All I'm saying is we need some miracle to slide us through." You grinned and turned to Thor. "Some magic even, perhaps."
"Loki?" Thor asked, his brows furrowed with a frown plastered on his face.
"Oh hell no. That is definitely not happening." Tony came up.
"Alright look, we all know that whatever this is can be a fully fledged trap and it would make things really easy for a trickster to be at my side in a time like that. The council won't notice him under his invisibility nor would they expect me to bring Loki himself to Earth, let alone to the building they want to meet up in." You said.
Thor nodded, "I understand. I've known Loki for all my life and I don't know any person that could do this job better than him." He told the team.
"He's right. We need a man strong enough on Y/N's side if things go south when he enters the building." Fury said before anyone else could.
"But my brother is an Asgardian prisoner. It will take me some time to free him." Thor spoke up. Clint's eyes were fixed on you the whole time.
"So be it. If the council was desperate enough to broadcast a worldwide message for me, they sure will wait for a day or two." You said.
"Y/N." Clint warned. "Those people are dangerous." He said.
"I know, Clint. But would you rather see me go alone with a much riskier probability of failure?" You argued and Clint sighed. He didn't have anything to say to that. Everyone agreed to the plan.
"I will negotiate with my brother." Thor nodded. "I shall leave for Asgard right away."
"Are you sure your dad would be happy to see you there after this long?" Natasha asked him.
"He won't know." Thor said, looking away at a farther wall. He felt a sting in his heart as the words left his mouth. So much had changed during the past years and now he was going to have to sneak in behind his own father's back to meet his brother? You saw the hurt on his face and put a hand in his arm. He smiled down at you for the gesture. "I will leave right away, Heimdall will surely hear me out."
"What if he doesn't?" Clint looked at Thor.
Thor gave a frail smile, "Let's hope he does." He said and looked at the equally worried countenances of his comrades. "I have to do this. It was either now or sometime after. I have to go back." He said. Without another word, Thor walked to the main exit of the building and went out.
"Now what?" Bruce asked.
Steve took a deep breath and sighed, "Now we wait."

"Y/N?" Clint woke up in the middle of the night to see your side of the bed empty. He rubbed his eyes as he sat up to look around. He noticed that there was water on the table in the room so he thought you must've gotten hungry. He got up from the bed and walked to the kitchen. As he exited the hallway, he heard your voice and grinned. He decided to scare you and hid behind the wall. He turned his head and his face paled when he saw you cornered on the kitchen counter with Steve on your body.
