Just as you entered Steve's room, you felt a hand grip tight on your shoulders and the very next moment your back was on the wall as Steve held your hands above your head with one hand and your waist with the other.

A shiver went down your spine as you looked into Steve's eyes that were dangerously close to yours. "S-Steve... let me go..." you mumbled, trying to get away and turning your head sideways so you didn't have to look straight into his face. You could feel his breaths on as he lifted the hand from your waist and turned your head so your faces were only inches apart and right opposite from each other as he looked down at you, taking advantage of his height to tower above you.

"Did you let go of Bruce when he begged for mercy?" He said as his hand slid under your shirt, his voice on edge. Tears welled your eyes and just when you were about to fight back, you felt a sharp pain on the side of your neck. Steve had injected a serum into your veins.

"Ste..." Your was widened as your felt your limbs go numb and you could not move even a muscle now.

"Good." Steve trailed your neck with breaths. "I'll like it better with your mouth shut." He said as he took your shirt off. Tears ran down your cheek. Steve looked back to see the furniture bending on its own. He grimaced as he looked back at you, "I'll stop when you do." He said before he clasped your jaw between his fingers. "Now that I think of it... this sure will be fun. Unless you want it to stop?" Steve asked and looked back to see the furniture still bending. "Perhaps not." He said and turned back to you, leaning in towards you but stopped just an inch apart. He turned around to see that everything had returned to normal. He turned back to see tears running down your face and even blood oozing out of your nose. "Not bad." He said as he pulled back and without him holding you up, you fell down with a thud on the floor.

You still couldn't move but felt some strength coming back to your limbs. You could see Steve standing there from the corner of your eye and it wasn't long after that you could stand up. You leaned over the wall for support as you saw Steve looking at you. "You-"

Steve didn't let you continue as he spoke up, cutting you mid sentence. "You've done well. Meet me in the gym in-" But you didn't let him finish either. The guy was sick. You just turned around to walk out of the room before he spoke again, stopping you in your track, "You don't really have an option here, Y/N." He said, speaking your name as if it was the most disgusting thing in the world. You didn't have to turn around to look at him to see his smirk, you could almost hear it in his words as he spoke. "The gym in ten." He said and walked past you out of the room, hitting your frame with his shoulder intentionally on his way.

Your whole body was numb. You knew you didn't have a choice. Even if you did, nobody would let you have it anyway. You could feel tears slipping down your cheeks as you leaned on the door. Your legs felt like giving up at every sob that came out of your mind. Did I really have to go on that mission? You pondered over and over as you tried to fix your stature. As things came into the visible spectrum and you felt yourself gain control over your body again, a bizarre thought ran over your mind.

Was Steve being controlled? Well of course Steve had to be a dick about everything to you but was he really that bad? Maybe yes, but sexual innuendos? That just didn't seem like him. Your mind thought from every angle to contradict this particular statement because you really wanted to just hate the guy right now but it just didn't seem like enough. Something was not right.

"Are you sure you're okay? You've been really quiet today." Clint spoke. You two were on your bed as Clint worked on his laptop and you just sat there. Your training with Steve had been tough and harsh. He gave you no slack and didn't even seem to care how your wounds hurt during the training. But your attention was only on how Steve acted. Yes, acted. You weren't completely sure but so far your hypothesis was seeming to proceed well. "Y/N?" Clint spoke up again, pulling you out of your thoughts. You looked at him to see that he had shut his laptop and was looking at you with a concerned look. "Did Steve do something?" He asked and his countenance told he was already considering the worst of scenarios.
