Tony had a grave expression on his face. You knew you were about half an hour late, but something about his stand said it was more than being late. You didn't want to deal with anyone right now, all you had wanted to do was go to your room and read a book with loud music on. You sighed and walked up to him, "Enjoying the nice weather, are we?" You said as you tried to walk past him but he grabbed your arm. Why is everyone's grip here so strong? You looked at him and tried to break free but he just pulled you inside, pushing the button in the elevator to his private floor. You didn't talk, just followed through. Your eyes widened at the design of Tony's private floor, just that it was highly untidy and everything just laid around. You guessed nobody was allowed in here.

"Did he hurt you?" Tony asked, pushing you down to a chair. You focused on him and gave him a confused look.

"Who would hurt me?" You asked.

"That sick boyfriend of yours. I should've believed Barton-"

"Wait, what? Why is this about Tyler?" Tony glared at you as you spoke, making you shift in your chair a bit. Tony pulled out his phone and played an audio. Your eyes widened when you realised your conversations with Tyler were being recorded. "You little tin fuck!" You stood up, angry. "You listened to our conversation?!" You yelled.

"Oh you were having a conversation? I thought all you were doing was to save yourself when that horny piece of shit tried to fuck you on the side of a road!" Tony yelled back, and his voice was way louder than yours. His expression with more rage than yours. You immediately realised Tony was not angry with you, he was concerned for you. But it still did not justify what he did.

You stormed past him, making sure your shoulders nudged. You walked off to the elevator and pushed the button to your floor. Once in the room, you broke out all the security cameras and locked the door before finally letting yourself break down.

"Jarvis, tell me what I did wrong." Tony sat on his recliner, fidgeting with a glass cube. His eyes and face was red and puffed up, he hadn't been crying. But this was as close to it as he had ever gotten.

"I don't personally think you did anything wrong, sir. You added surveillance for Mr. Y/N's own good, you were merely concerned for him. While listening to a private conversation does violate some privacy ethics but given Mr. Y/N's conditions, I think it was as justified as it needed to be." Jarvis spoke.

"What do you mean by his condition?" Tony asked. He already knew what you were going through but he needed a more assessed and technically analysed review.

"Mr. Y/N has been proving unable to deal with his past. He has severe anxiety and has had a record of lying repeatedly and habitually. As far as my algorithms can get, I hardly believe he should even be allowed into the Avengers initiative." Jarvis said.

"He's been lying?" Tony asked, rather perplexed by Jarvis' analysis.

"Indeed, sir. Considering hiding information a form of lying, he's one of the best at it. He has been noticed to amend and reconstruct the conversation ever so smoothly every time he's confronted with a direct question. His posture and vitals may hardly indicate that he's lying even to a highly skilled observant. Even in my records, there only have been a very few amount of evidences that he's withholding an important amount of information." Jarvis said. "He's... quite interesting, sir. He has a very high and polished knowledge of the physical sciences and his records from his time on the SHIELD academy clearly states he's dangerously good at mind games, if one were to leave out his exceptionally fast and deadly responses in close combat. According to everything I have so far found on him, he should have been a very proud and lethal man. Yet, he maintains a fragile and approachable personality that somehow seems so natural it might as well be a disguise. And his physique certainly is rather objectionable for someone who works out so little, but again that's an observation of not more than a couple of days." Jarvis said.
