The three of us waited not-so-patiently for Alenia to tell us her plan. She would never force us to do anything with her but at the end of the day, all three of us would follow her to the end of the earth.

"We're going to break out," Alenia said. She was nervous but her resolve was absolute. As she spoke she became stronger, her hands no longer shaking and her eyes locking with ours. "And then we're going to take down every single school and bring the UHA down to ashes."

"We can't break out, where would we go?" Margie protested. Her loyalty wasn't wavering but the celestial gatekeeper was panicking. I tried not to get defensive but I couldn't believe that she was protesting in the slightest.

"We'll go to the Jones'," Alenia said with conviction.

"How?" Christine questioned, wanting more details. I couldn't blame her.

"We're going to break out on family visitation day," Alenia said. "All parents will be here, and I'll get the Jones' to get us out of the country. We're near the edge, anyway. That way we can get out and no one has to worry about leaving their parents, and no parent has to worry about their kids gone."

"How are you going to get the Jones' here?" I asked, knowing that they weren't Alenia's favorite people and that she was barely related to them.

"The director all but spelled out for me that I'm Naomi's daughter," Alenia said. "Her husband is a harrold, which explains why I can work with raw magic, and it explains how I burned that rune into Mr. Walton."

"Alenia- Naomi must already know this," Christine said. "And she hasn't saved you yet."

"And she alone isn't all we need," Alenia replied. "I'm going to get her to bring my family to the visitation."

"She won't know she's walking into a riot," I replied plainly. Alenia looked at all of us as if challenging us to tell her not to do it.

"This is going to require a lot of planning," Alenia said when none of us called her out. "We need to find what they've done to everyone, we need to make sure that the kids will be safe, and we can't get caught before it is too soon."

"We can work with Katie and Lore," I offered. "The prophecy has had us preparing for war for years, and it would allow us to have some adults on our side. Not to mention that if Lore is protecting the kids then we'll be free to break free."

"Gods, we're really doing this," Margie said. She took a deep breath, "You can count on the Gatekeeper Club."

"And the succubi," Christine offered. "But they've allowed, encouraged even, for us to get organized and strong. There is no way we can just walk out of here, and if the director is a harold..."

Alenia grinned then, in contrast to what I had expected. "Leave him to me, he's using a barrier field around the school and has no idea I can manipulate them."
