I walk into first period and make my way towards my seat. I place my stuff down next to me and glance up Alessia who's texting away on her phone.

"Hey" I whisper. Alessia doesn't even glance at me.

"Hi" She continues typing away on her phone.

"You didn't respond to any of my text this weekend" I say. She rolls her eyes.

"That's what I was going for" I bite my lip before facing away from her. I turn back around and look at her.

"I'm sorry, okay? What was I supposed to do? Keep it in!" I state. Alessia ignores me and continues typing on her phone. I snatch the phone out of her hand and slam it down on the table making a few eyes look our way. "Can you please look at me?!" I whisper.

"What do you want me to say Normani?" Alessia snaps. "I told you to keep your mouth shut about it and you couldn't do that one simple thing!" I run my fingers through my hair.

"I'm sorry" Alessia scoffs.

"Sorry doesn't change the fact that you did it anyway. I had to take care of Lauren this whole weekend who I might add is an emotional wreck, Zendaya has gone on a fucking drinking rampage, and don't even get me started on Vanessa and Zayn. Every time I try to text them something important about Zendaya and Lauren, all they send back is the fucking tea emoji! All of this could have been prevented if you weren't so fucking selfish for once in your pathetic life!" Alessia yells.

The whole classes eyes are on us as she finishes. My eyes are starting to water as a presence walks up to us.

"Hey Alessia, how about you just chill the fuck out, okay?" Dinah says stepping in. Alessia rolls her eyes.

"Oh look! Dinah Jane Hansen coming to save the day. None of this would of happened if you could have just kept it in your damn pants. Is there anyone else in our friend group you'd like to fuck?" Alessia challenges.

"Excuse me?" Dinah tightens her fist. Ally immediately comes up and grabs Dinah's arm.

"Stop it Dinah" Ally says. I wipe my eyes as I grab my bag off the ground. I try to walk past Dinah but she stops me.

"Hey. None of what she said is true" Dinah says trying to comfort me. I shake my head sniffling.

"That's the thing though" I wipe away a tear "It is" I walk past her and out of the door.

"Ms.Hamilton where do you think you're going?" Mr. Taylor asks as I walk past him. I walk towards the Nurses office and open the door. She looks up at me and smiles.

"What's wrong sweetie?" I sniffle a little before wiping my eyes.

"I have a headache. Is it okay if I lay down for a bit?" I ask. She immediately nods.

"Of course, stay as long as you need. Just put your bag down and I'll go grab you a blanket" I thank her before placing my bad down next to the bed. I lay down as the nurse comes in and hands me a blanket. "Let me know if you need anything"

"I will. Thank you" She nods before turning off the lights and leaving the room. I glance at the little light in the corner. My thoughts immediately wander back to the conversation earlier.

Alessia was right. I couldn't keep my mouth shut and it ruined our whole friend group dynamic. I was so caught up with how I felt I didn't even think twice about how it affect everybody.

I am selfish...

I am pathetic...

Second period was about to begin and the thought of moving wouldn't be put into action. I didn't ever want to move again, because it seems anything I do I hurt people.
