The gang had ended up in the middle of the nearest Walmart, arguing over what flowers were the prettiest and whether or not they should buy chocolates.  Ashton raised his voice, picking up a bouquet.

"I'm buying these ones, I think they're the most living ones."

Cristina shrugged, setting down the three bouquets she was debating between.  They headed off to check out, not really wanting to spend more time arguing over chocolate.  After Ashton purchased the flowers, they were off to their final destination.

Grandma's house.

As Cristina pulled into the driveway of her grandmother's quaint little farm home, she quickly turned to the boys.

"Listen to me, my grandma hates being called anything related to 'old', okay?  So don't call her my 'grandma', don't call her 'ma'am', and definitely don't ask about 'when she was younger'.  She'll hate you if you do.  Call her Louise to start, if she likes y'all, she'll eventually let you call her something else."

The boys all nodded their heads, going to open the car doors.  Cristina abruptly stopped them by locking the doors, scaring them for a moment.

"One more thing, my grandma is not like most grandma's as some of you may have realized.  She's wild and crazy, kind of like my mother, but even more so.  Please, just keep boundaries, and don't let her get too weird on y'all."

Michael shrugged, pushing Calum to get out of the car already.  He unlocked the door and they all started piling out of the car.  Luke took a moment to glance back at Cristina as she took a deep breath.

"Hey, it's going to be okay.  Don't stress, we're on vacation."

Cristina nodded, trying not to focus too much on Luke placing his hand on her thigh, giving it a light squeeze.  They followed the others out of the car, grabbing their luggage from the trunk and up the cobblestone pathway towards the porch.  Louise, the infamous grandma, was standing on the porch with her arms wide open to embrace literally any one of the boys, or even Cristina.

Cristina stepped in front of the boys, being the first to greet and embrace her grandmother.

"Hey, gran.  This is Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton.  Boys, this is Louise."  They all waved politely until her grandmother just pulled them all in one by one, giving them a good squeeze.  Ashton handed her the flowers after getting hugged.

"These are for you, Louise.  Thanks for letting us stay here and use your kitchen."

Cristina's grandmother took the flowers, smelling them before thanking Ashton.  "You boys are welcome here anytime.  Come on in everyone, let's get you all settled for the night."  They all filed into the house, glancing around at all the decor and pictures.  It was more modern that one would expect, but still had the heartwarming feel of a grandmother's home.

"Cristina, you take Calum and Luke to their room.  They'll be in the one next to yours.  I'll take the other two to the room next to mine."

Cristina nodded, not really complaining at the thought of Luke being in the room next to hers.  Who knew?  Maybe the sleeping arrangements would switch by the end of the night.  Cristina led Luke and Calum up the steps and down the hallway, stopping at their new room and allowing them to settle in.  She sat on the edge of the bed, simply watching as they kicked off their shoes and took turns using the bathroom to freshen up.

"Your gra- Louise seems really cool.  No wonder she's your favorite family member."  Cristina smiled at Calum's comment.

"Yeah, she's definitely the coolest one in the family.  I can't believe she hasn't pulled any tricks on any of you yet though."

Luke laughed, "Well, she looked like she was taking a liking to Ashton."  Cristina rolled her eyes at the two boys laughing.

"Anyways, what do you guys have planned to make for dinner?  Everyone's relying on y'all."

Luke and Calum looked at each other, slightly clueless.  Cristina's mouth parted, "You guys didn't pick out a recipe or anything?"

The boys shook their heads guiltily.  Cristina softly giggled, resting her head against the headboard.  "I guess we can do the cook off tomorrow or something.  Would y'all be happier with pizza?"

Luke nodded, "Mikey sure would be happy."

Calum agreed, "Yeah, definitely.  Let's go tell them we're ordering pizza and see if they want anything else."

The three of them walked back down towards the living space, seeing Michael awkwardly sitting on the couch.  As soon as they came into view, he quickly stood up, excited to share news.

"Dude, your grandma is putting the moves on Ashton."

Cristina's lightly hit her head on Luke's shoulder, mumbling under her breath.  "I swear, if he becomes my new grandpa, I'm kicking him out of the band myself so I don't feel so bad when I murder him."
