Moonlight and a 15 year old lap lit Arizona's living room as Teddy laid across the couch trying to wrap her head around everything that had just happened. Arizona and April stared at her silently, sipping their wine, allowing Teddy to have the floor for as long as she needed. "They're a family. A family! Are you kidding? One day he's sleeping me, telling me about how much he loves me and wants me. Now what? He's in love with her? And they have a family? This is insane," Teddy groaned. "I can't believe after everything that she didn't do for him when Megan was sick, that I did, he still picks her. And I know, I know, I told him to go! But that's only because it was her idea! He had no interest in coming to be with me! His ex wife had interest in him coming to be with me!" She continued. A sigh left her mouth as the words she was saying, came back to her hearing. "I don't deserve to pout. I told him I didn't want to be with him. I shut him down," Teddy realized. Arizona and April shared a look before agreeing it was time to step in.
"Listen, sweetie, everything will be fine. Owen will come to his senses and react correctly to the news. And you guys will figure out how to coparent. Like Callie and I," Arizona said. April furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head in disagreement.
"More like Jackson and I. See, Jackson and I have a connection and always will, but now that I'm married to Matthew, all Jackson and I have together is Harriet. And I share a lot of love for Jackson, don't get me wrong, but it will never be the same love I share for Matthew, not again at least. But the most important thing to me, that you can take away from this, is that Jackson and Matthew are friends. They don't have to start a bromance or anything, but having them around at the same time, in the same place, and nice to each other was the most important thing to me. And it should be for you. You and Owen are having a baby, but Owen and Amelia are getting their lives back together. So, make nice at first and slowly make friends with the woman that is going to around your child a lot. It helps," April advised. Teddy sat up and nodded.
"You're right, you're right. This is stupid. Owen and I of course have love for each other, but now we have to focus on our baby. And Amelia, she shouldn't be a problem. I hope," she sighed as she laid back down and slapping her hands over her face.
"Ooh, bonding! Why don't you guys go out to lunch?" Arizona suggested. Teddy removed her hands and looked at the fetal surgeon slightly intrigued.
"Go on," she condoned.
"You and Amelia should go out, share a meal, something that says here is my white flag, I want to be friends," Arizona smiled. Teddy shook her head.
"I thought about it as you were talking and no thanks. I'm pretty sure after tonight she hates me," Teddy said. April shook her head.
"She doesn't hate you,"
———
"I hate her!" Amelia groaned, lying next to Betty with Leo in between.
"You don't hate her," Betty replied. Amelia sighed.
"You're right. I don't hate her. I hate him. He's the one who can't keep it in his pants. Gets me pregnant, then gets her pregnant. Ugh! I hate him!" She complained. Betty shook her head.
"You don't hate him either. You hate that you told him to go and he did. You hate the she sent him back and he came. You hate that you fell for him even when this living arrangement was supposed to help me. You can't fool me though, this living arrangement was to help you. Help you and him fall back in love. And you hate that it worked. And you hate that now that you're happy and have the family you secretly wanted with him it all seems like it's being taken away. But it's not. Leo and I are still yours, you're still pregnant with a baby that was made from love no matter what you say, and you and Owen are together. The only differences from yesterday and today is that this Teddy girl is here with a baby. She didn't move in. She didn't profess her love for him. She just told him that she was having his baby. And you hate that deep down inside you know Owen is the tiniest bit excited. That's why you're mad and why we are all sleeping in the same bed instead of back at home in our separate beds," Betty generalized. Amelia stared into the pitch black room, at a loss. Betty knew her fear before she did. And she was right. Amelia wasn't mad that Teddy was back or that she had a kid with her. She was mad that Owen was honestly going to be happy about it once all was said and done. And while Betty was right that she still had her family for now, Amelia was worried that Owens joys of having a baby would overshadow his joys of them getting remarried or them having a baby. Therefore, even though Amelia was pregnant, she wasn't sure if she wanted to keep it anymore. And she that was a terrible revelation to have being 13 weeks, but in the past couple of hours, she went from luckiest woman alive to second best. So, in her mind thinking as Owen, she hadn't given him what he always wanted, a baby. And even though she was, he didn't know that. And her overthinking made her feel like he wasn't going to want another baby even if her baby was coming first because he knew about it after Teddy's . To a rational person Amelia's feelings made absolutely no sense, but in her mind Owen and Teddy were basically moving back to Germany to raise their little family, because she didn't speak up first. And there was no way she could voice that because deep down she knew she sounded like a lunatic, but the voice in the back of her mind that validated her overthinking was putting in the work to make her crazy talk sound like it deserved a Nobel Peace Prize.
"Ugh, go to bed," Amelia avoided. Not wanting to continue to hear the truth that both of them knew. Betty turned on her side facing out wards, causing Amelia to do the same, while leaving enough space for Leo to move freely. While shutting her eyes, Amelia imagined the day the way she wished it had played out.
9:30 AM
Amelia and Owen silently watched Arizona examine their son on opposite sides of the table. "He doesn't have a cold, and I'm not seeing any signs of an ear infection," she said as Amelia's pager went off.
"Great. Uh, I have to go. Thanks Robbins," Amelia smiled, before she pecked Leo's cheek and ran out of the room.
"I think little man is just teething," Arizona said to Owen as she took off her gloves and handed him Leo's onesie. "I'm glad to see Amelia's energy is up. How is she?" Arizona asked. Owen looked at her very confused, but kept a smile on his face.
"Good. Why?" He asked. Arizona, oblivious to any social cue that said don't talk to him about why, shrugged.
"She came to see me the other day and was worried, but judging by the smile on your face everything is okay," Arizona replied. Owen sort of put two and two together, but shrugged it off and picked up his fully dressed baby.
"Yep, everyone is great," he said, before he rushed out of the room to get Leo back to daycare and find his fiancé.

"You can't do that to him," Bailey said, taking off her wristwatch to prepare for surgery. "He just got his life back together," she sighed. Teddy ran her hands through her hair and nodded.
"I know, I know. But, my child deserves their father too. What was I to do?" Teddy asked. Bailey started to put her hair up and sighed.
"For starters not ambush the guy. Ever heard of calling?" She asked while she looked at the ringing pager on her hip. "Look, you guys are three of my best doctors and I need you guys focused. For the love of everything holy, reconcile this," Miranda begged, before grabbing her scrubs and heading to the bathroom to change. Teddy bit her lip and dropped her head onto the pillow that her arms made.
"Reconciliation, huh?" She said as her head started to spin with ideas of how to get them all to a place of collective cohesion and co-parenting.

"I truly am sorry," Amelia said in a strong manner as best she could. She had just told her patients family that their 5-year-old son was brain dead and with her hormones on ten she could barely handle herself. Amelia walked towards the elevator quickly and luckily jumped on an empty car. As soon as the doors shut, Amelia stood on the back wall hugging herself in tears. She barely even spent a week on this little boy's case, but her hormones made it feel like it was an eternity that they'd spent together. She hit three and tried her absolute best to pull herself together. When floor three lit up, the doors opened to reveal her redheaded man.
"Amelia, we need to-" Owen was quickly cut off when Amelia's hard exterior shattered, causing her to start sobbing. "What's wrong?" Owen asked, immediately going into protective mode.
"Donny, my patient. I couldn't save him," she cried. Owen stepped onto the elevator car and shut the doors.
"Come here," he said, hitting the stop button on the wall and holding her tightly as alarms rang throughout the car. He wanted to yell at her for not telling him about her visit with Arizona and not feeling well, but before anything else, he wanted to comfort her and let her know that everything was going to be okay. Because no matter what Hell they went through, unlike anyone else, that was one thing he could guarantee her. Or at least try to guarantee her.
