Teddy's Place

"Owen this isn't a good idea," Teddy said, backing up to her kitchen counter. Owen placed his hands on forearms desperately.

"Please. I would appreciate it so much. And I know you have a boyfriend, but we don't have to tell him," Owen begged. Teddy grimaced and moved his hands from her.

"Owen, I don't know how your relationship works, but Rick and I tell each other stuff," she said. Owen rolled his eyes and folded his arms.

"Don't make me have to do this," He threatened. Teddy narrowed her eyes at him.

"You wouldn't,"

"Chicken-"

"Owen!"

"Plate," Owen smirked. Teddy balled her fist by her side, trying to control her anger.

"Owen. I, so desperately, want hit you right now! So, I suggest you answer one of the twenty pages you've gotten and get the hell out of my face!" Teddy yelled. Owen stole a kiss on her cheek and darted back to the hospital a block away.

The Hospital

Owen walked into the ER through the ambulance bay. As soon as he got back to his desk, Glasses sprinted up to him. "I'm so glad I found you, sir. You're wife said she'd have my head if I didn't. You need to come with me," he panicked. Owen stopped listening past wife and ran after Schmidt towards the on-call room. They stopped in front of the door and Owen looked at him weird.

"Schmidt just tell me what you have to. I'm not going in there with you," Owen said. Glasses shook his head and opened the door. Owen looked at him before coming into the on-call room. It looked empty, but when the door shut, Owen turned around to see Meredith blocking the handle.

"Meredith, what's going on?" Owen asked. Maggie hopped down from the top bunk, throwing Owen off a bit.

"Owen, why don't you take a seat," Meredith said. Owen did as he was told and sat at the desk chair.

"We are going to tell you something, and you are going to freak out and do whatever you have to, right here," Maggie started.

"Because when you leave this room, you are going to your wife and family. You can not lose it in there, because Amelia and Betty will be hysterical as it is," Meredith continued.

"And you will let Arizona talk you through everything before asking any questions. Don't interrupt her, and don't let Amelia do it either," Maggie finished. The sisters shared a look, before looking back to Owen. He gripped the sides of the chair in angst, already sure that bad news was heading his way.

"Amelia was admitted in to the hospital ten minutes ago. You lost Baby B. She's not taking it well, but she's going to have surgery to deliver the still born child in order to keep Baby A," Meredith explained. Owen hyperventilated as he tried to get up, only causing Maggie to sit him back down and Meredith to lock the door.

"Owen, breath. Amelia has chosen to do the surgery today so that she can be out of the hospital by the time Monday rolls around. As soon as she sees you, she will back out if you don't calm down. And you both can't afford to back out if you want to keep your otherwise health baby. So breath," Maggie said. Owen dropped his head between his knees and remembering what Teddy told him to do when Megan was hurt. He took a few breaths and got up.

"I'm ready. I need to be with her," Owen said. Meredith unlocked the door and allowed him too exit.

"He has no idea where he's going," Meredith muttered ready to follow him. Maggie grabbed her big sisters arm and shook her head.
