Thomas gently pulled those hands away from Zaide's face.
"You can never look ugly." Thomas chuckled and lay back down again, staring at the ceiling.
This time, Thomas' right hand went under Zaide's head and pulled the smaller boy flushed against his chest before clicking another one swiftly.
They did not say anything after that. No words were needed, or the need to move aside to give the other some space.
Zaide did not get up to finish his homework. He had plenty of times to do that this weekend. They fell asleep in each other's arms, as always they seemed to do.
The muffled music faded quietly as they drifted into sleep.
