Zaide huffed as the cold breeze of lake made the hair on his neck stand up. Thomas looked around and sat down on the grass, his back against a tree.
Zaide looked around, too, to see if there was anyone at the moment who saw them and got them reported, but there was none.
He sat down, a little too close to Thomas. If Thomas complained, he could always blame it on the chilly wind.
The older let out a deep sigh. It was peaceful, beautiful and with Zaide beside him, he was the calmest. He never wanted to let that feeling go.
Zaide shivered a little against Thomas' side.
"Are you cold?" Thomas asked.
Zaide was embarrassed. He replied quietly, "Yes."
The older smiled. He knew just the right cure of the situation.
