Dan came to a conclusion that picking up Rome for school was never going to be an easy task, although Rome's happy skip was enough to keep him trying on.
After a small conversation with and goodbye kiss from his boyfriend, Rome went to Alisha and Zaide, waiting by Alisha's locker.
"I mean seriously, how stupid can a boy be?" Alisha exasperated suddenly.
"What had happened while I was gone?" Rome was confused.
"I've no idea." Zaide replied.
"I was talking about Philip." Alisha gritted out. "I mean clearly Zara was using him to make Thomas jealous which won't work, by the way." Zaide tensed as she explained.
"Obviously." Rome said. "But, she needs to accept the fact by herself otherwise she'll never be able to go on in life, my darling."
Rome led his two best friends to their first class by throwing his arms over their shoulders.
Maybe it was for her sake, maybe Zara would get her closure soon and not be hurt and hateful, Zaide thought as he was forced to concentrate on the board.
