                                              Sneaking into the house, Thomas let out a sigh of relief as his parents were still asleep.
                          He went into his room and flopped down onto his bed heavily. His back hurt, but he felt light, different.
                          His heart felt like it was stuck in his throat and a stupid grin was on his face. He was going to go crazy, he realized.
                          He groaned and buried his face in his pillow, imagining it to be Zaide's neck. He pulled it as close to him as possible without suffocating himself.
                          With that stupid grin on his face, he fell asleep again.
                          It was Saturday, so he did not have a reason to get up early and get ready for school. He slept till mid-day.
