Zaide pulled Thomas around him, being the small spoon had always left a warm feeling in his chest. It was so natural, comfortable sentiment.
He felt guilty as well.
"Am I overstepping the boundary that your parents have drawn for us?" Zaide asked softly, watching the still night outside.
"What're you talking about?" Thomas asked. His breath chilling on Zaide's neck.
"They didn't want us to be in the same room, remember? And now, you're here with me, on the same bed."
Thomas took in the younger boy's scent. He could not help pressing his entire body against Zaide's back, tightening his arms around him.
Zaide tensed up and discerning that Thomas came back to his senses, but when he tried to pull away, the smaller boy whined a little and pressed himself back to Thomas.
He chuckled before replying, "Then, we wouldn't let them know."
Thomas kissed his neck and Zaide shivered in his arms.
