When the class ended, Zaide took out his phone and smiled, seeing nine text messages from Thomas. No matter what, he could not be angry with Thomas. He was angry with himself and his fate.
If he had not taken out his phone and was not tempted to text back, he would not have to be in detention.
"What?"
"I'm confused."
"You're angry. Aren't you?"
"You must be busy."
"Fine. I'll say sorry to her. Happy?"
"Still not? I'll take you to the ice cream parlour then."
"Okay, then, I'll take Zara for ice cream."
"Are you going home with me today? Dan is going with Rome and Alisha has dance practice, right?"
"Reply me!"
After reading all texts, Zaide replied back. "You've gotten me in trouble."
