When Zaide came downstairs, he saw Zara leaning into Thomas' personal space. His heart clenched painfully.
"You didn't answer where you have been last night." She slowly murmured.
"In the guest room." Thomas said very casually.
His lies hurt Zaide more than he thought it would. What was so wrong admitting the truth, admitting that he had been with Zaide the whole night?
There must be something wrong in it.
His chain of thoughts broke when Zara voiced her request.
"Please, Zaide, help me clean the mess." She smiled sweetly at Zaide and no matter what, he loved his elder sister to the bits.
So, he agreed.
