Zaide had never felt so complete as he continued to kiss Thomas. That could not be better.
Their peaceful little world got interrupted when they heard Zaide's mom calling him from downstairs.
"Honey, I'm home." Zaide panicked and after a lot of shuffling and chaos, he shoved Thomas into the closet before answering his mom.
"Okay, mom!" He yelled for his mother, but his room's door opened abruptly to reveal her standing there.
"How are you feeling now, baby?" She came into the room and put her hand on his forehead.
"Better than ever." He said cheerfully.
"Good, and don't think I'll let you skip school next time." She scolded her son.
"I don't think that would be needed." Zaide smiled to himself.
His mom gave him a look and turned around to leave, however she stood there in shock.
There, by the door, was Thomas' backpack that she knew all too well, but she did not ask anything, she did not have the heart to.
