Zaide looked up and met with the angry eyes of Ms. Fulle.
"I never took you for one to text in class." She sounded disappointed. Zaide just stared. He wanted to protest, but words did not come out. He could feel everyone's eyes on him and the tip of his ears got hotter. "Detention."
Zaide eyes widened. "Please, no. I'm sorry. I'll do extra homework." He frantically tried.
He could not get detention.
Ms. Fulle's eyes softened, but she stood strongly on her ground. "Detention, today, with Mr. Geller."
She turned around immediately, so she did not have to see Zaide's sad puppy dogs eyes. Although she loved that child so much, she could not over look his behaviour. It was a display of disrespect.
Zaide picked up his phone from the ground and shoved it into his pocket angrily.
