It was late into the night, the sun had fallen and been replaced by the brightly luminescent Luna. Alice was at a late night bar waiting for someone, her long red dress was glowing compared to the dull dresses on the dance floor. It had been two hours since her date was supposed to arrive: she checked the clock and sighed loudly. She grabbed the ice cold bubble tea in front of her and took a large gulp, accidentally swallowing half of it. She sighed in disapoinmemt and stood up, drinking the rest and turning around. She set it down and took a step away from the bar. She felt someone bump into her and she was ready to smack them when she looked up and saw a person she knew from around town, he had a big orange afro that stood out compared to her short, curly, red-orange hair. He extended a hand to help her up, Ordinary World by Duran Duran started playing as she accepted his hand and stood up with his help. He accidentally pulled her to hard and she fell into his chest.
He looked concerned, "you ok, girlie?"
"Y-yes," she stuttered as she took a step back from him. "I'm fine.. Thanks for helping me up."
"Yeah, I just hope you're alright," he was generally concerned for her. She smiled gently at him.
"Well my date dumped me, and I'm bored so I was gonna head home."
"Well," he said as he took her hand in his. "Wanna dance with me?"
Alice blushed and nodded, a happy smile protruded her lips. She accepted his offer and he lead her out to the dance floor, I Will Survive came on loudly and the tired people sat down.
Alice smiled widely, matching Disco Bears toothy smile; he started dancing to the girls' singing in a very dramatic way. Alice quickly joined him in the dramatic dance. Soon enough the dance floor was clear except for them, as they dancing elaborately. People started watching them and Disco bear spun her a few times, they started sliding back and forth. It seemed like a real life game of "Just Dance", they were both smiling and giggling with each other.
The song slowed down and so did their dance, then it hit a drop and they resumed their dancing but they made it more exotic. A few people in the crowd cheered and laughed while others stared in despair. Almost everyone was having fun and the two dancers were having the most fun. Disco Bear grabbed her hands and spun her a few times. The song ended with a displeasing fade but the two made it fun. As soon as they heard the music fade Alice leaned Disco Bear back and giggled, then helped him properly up to his feet. They both chuckled and listened as the next song (Hungry Like The Wolf) came on, and from there they danced the night away.
