It was a cold winter day. You were walking alone to Hogsmeade with your books in hand. The cold bit at your face and fingers turning them pink. Your scarf blew in the wind. You'd done it loosely due to all of the studying you'd been doing it, you were rather flustered and tired. The stubborn wind tore at you, you gritted your teeth and pushed on, hearing laughing behind you, you refused to turn around. Laughter always made your heart hurt. You used to laugh. But your friends had betrayed you, used you for their grades. You clenched your teeth together harder. Girls like you didn't cry. Your scarf finally tore off and flew back. You turned, trying to catch it as it blew right into the street before the four laughing boys behind you. You recognized them of course, James, Sirius, Peter, and of course, Remus. Remus was so mysterious, not to mention kind of cute. The way he stuttered when he talked to you. He was always in the library and he always ate chocolate. Sirius picked up your scarf, glancing at you, standing there. He smirked and handed it to Remus who walked over to you, blushing.

"Er, is this yours?" Trying not to blush you pulled a hand through your hair.

"Yes. it is. Yank Thoo. Em, I mean tank too. Thank you." This time you did blush visibly. Why were you stuttering so much.

Remus rubbed the back of his neck, flushed. "'S no problem." He answered perfectly in his soft voice. His voice was rather pleasant. You could listen to him speak all day. You watched him walk back to the others, clutching your h/c scarf to your chest.

It was a week before Christmas, exams were tomorrow. But you didn't worry. You studied every day and you were sure to ace it. You were just taking your books back to the library. When you came out you waved to Madame Pince and accidentally ran right into a boy. He fell with an almost unnoticeable grunt, all his books falling to the ground.

You also fell on top of him. "I'm so sorry!" You said, opening your eyes to reveal a certain dirty blonde boy. His caramel eyes fell upon you and he smiled, blushing.

"Er, nit's irthing! Oops, I, uh..." He stuttered and you realized you were still on top of him, your hands on his chest. You bit your lip and your face burned, probably a bright strawberry. You got up and held out a hand for him. He took it and you pulled him up, surprising him with your strength. He noticed your sparkling e/c eyes and blushed a deeper wine red. He mumbled something you didn't catch.

"What was that?" You asked.

"Er, I was wondering if um, ifyoudmaybehelpmestudyabit." He rushed but you caught every word, your head screaming loudly.

He bent down to pick up his books and you helped, "Of course!" Your voice cracked in the middle of the sentence causing it to squeak higher than usual. You set the books down on the table. Madame Pince eyed you over her glasses but didn't say a word as you began studying. You studied late into the night, it turns out Remus didn't need help at all but every time you tried to leave he'd call for you again with a question he probably already knew. From so many sleepless nights you were a little droopy and when Remus was writing some things down, you zonked out.

Remus' pov

I finished drawing and looked over the beautiful drawing. It was of the alluring Y/n. Even with my awful drawing skills I couldn't make her look bad. She never noticed me watching her in class, the way she chews her lips when she concentrates and her brow furrows and when she's reading, she gets really into the characters and sometimes comments on the book out loud. I sighed, slapping a hand over my mouth to keep her from hearing. Then I looked over and noticed her asleep on the 'A History of Magic' book. She was so cute, her mouth was open and her soft snores sounded almost like little kitten purrs. I stared at her for a while until Madame Pince came up behind me.

"Take her to bed, the library's closing up. I'll keep the books here for you to put up in the morning." She said. And I blushed, picking Y/n up gently. Bridal-style, I carried her to the Gryffindor common room and layed her on the couch. She never woke up. I kissed her forehead and whispered to her under my breath before heading up to the common room.

Your pov

You woke up when Remus began carrying you, and although you felt a little guilty for making him take your weight, you couldn't help but just want to stay in his warmth forever. He took you into Gryffindor and layed you on the couch, kissing you softly on the forehead. You almost opened your eyes to watch him but knew better.

"I love you." He muttered and your breath caught in your throat. And when you heard him walk up the stairs you opened your eyes blinking a few times, your whole body charged with something like electricity. It made you feel all warm and fuzzy and you weren't sure if you liked it. But you did. You sighed as you tried to calm yourself down. This was going to be one heck of a story.
