Draco Malfoy x Reader: The Chosen Two

"Hey Y/n? I have a question." Your twin brother came up to you in the train, you were sitting alone, which made sense, unlike your brother you were pretty much a loner.

"What's up Harry?" You asked.

"Well I find it highly suspicious that you're a 2nd year and you dont have a crush." He said with a smirk.

You laughed, "Harry what's this? Why are you suddenly so curious."

He sat across from you, "Well...look I haven't been the most attentive the past 2 years, so I thought as your brother I should get more involved in your life."

You chuckled, "Well I do like one guy..."

Harry leaned forward, "Spill the tea sis." (Hehe I had to)

"Well, hes a er, Slytherin..."

Harry's expression changed from one of interest to one of disgust. "Really? Why?"

You bit your lip, you didn't want to cause your already troubled brother more worry. "I'm kidding," you said with a smile "I dont like anyone."

Harry gave you a quizzical look, but just then Ron and Hermione came into your compartment. Hermione sat by you and Ron by Harry. That was your clue to go. "Well bye Harry."

"You cant stay if you want.." Harry said, but you were already out.

You stumbled to the back of the train where a lone Slytherin was sleeping, you sat beside him and poked his shoulder. He jolted awake. "Oh hi Y/n." He said with a relieved smile.

"Hi Draco."

4 years later

"Are you sure Draco?" You grasped your boyfriend's arm outside the boys locker room. He was already in his green quidditch robes.

He kissed your forehead, "You have to trust me baby, I've missed too many games to miss this one."

You gave him a worried smile and rubbed his forearm, "I still don't understand..." you trailed off.

"Not the time to talk about this Y/n, you'll be rooting for me?" He asked.

"Well you know how my brother is, besides I support my own team. Don't you forget I'm still a Gryffindor Malfoy." You said with a smirk.

Draco smirked and ruffled your hair, "Worth a shot, see you after the game?"

"If I can get away from Harry." You said with an eye roll.

Draco chuckled and walked through the locker room door. You went over to the Gryffindor girls' locker room. Couldn't have the Gryffindor keeper not ready to be on the field for this game. Everyone took this game so much more seriously than all the others.

You walked in and saw Ginny waiting for you in her robes, arms crossed. She gave you a pointed look which you ignored and changed.

It was close to the end of the game, you watched Draco and Harry soar around the field, clearly chasing the snitch. You bit your lip in anticipation the suddenly Draco and Harry tumbled to the ground together. You couldn't see why. Before you could call out, the quaffle came flying at you, your reflexes alone knocked it away toward no one in particular and you looked down just in time to see Madame Hooch catch Harry and Madame Pomfrey tending to Draco.

The game was called off and in the rush you couldn't get to Harry through all the concerned Gryffindor team members. But you did make your way to the Slytherin locker rooms where Draco was waiting, his back resting on the wall.

You ran over to him and flung your arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. "You're okay, thank goodness!"

Draco gave you a weak smile, "Yeah, I'm alright, how's Harry?"

"I'm fine thanks." Harry said coming around the corner to see you pressed up agai st Draco.

You shoved off of him, "Harry it's not what it looks like."

Harry's anger rose, "Really? Cause what it looks like is that you were too concerned for you Slytherin boyfriend, Malfoy of all people, to check on your own brother."

You bit your lip, "I tried to check on y-"

Harry cut you off by pushing you away from Draco, he got in his face. "You stay away from my sister. You hear me?"

Draco glanced at you, biting your lip worriedly. But if Draco had any chance, he wouldn't if you got between them. "Harry-"

"Don't talk to me."

"Please just let me-"

"No!" Harry said shoving away from Draco and beginning to march off.

Quick as a flash Draco strode over to Harry and put a hand on his shoulder. "Just let me prove myself. I...I love her."

You gaped, Draco never said love.

Harry turned around but his gaze softened when he met Draco's pleading grey eyes. "You have until the end of the year. That's all." Then he stormed away.
