Charlie Weasley x Reader: Malfunction Part 2

"He made me break my perfect record. He bugs me constantly. He wears tacky clothing." You complained.

"But somehow you find him strangely attractive and you like the attention." May O' Malley said. May was technically a half blood so she was one of the few Slytherins that didn't have a problem with muggle lovers and mudbloods. That's why Lucius would never let you be friends with her. But despite his rules, May was your true best friend.

"What?! How did any of what I just said lead you to that conclusion?"

May rolled her eyes, "Its obvious, you haven't even told him to stop in more than a week and you started talking to him."

"Pssh, so?" You asked.

"Listen, obviously I'm kinda the Switzerland of this stuff, I dont care to get into your fights. But you have to admit, Gryffindors are pretty hot." May's a Hufflepuff, she's a real sweetheart and she's good friends with most of the Slytherins because she sees the good in everyone.

"Ew. May, even if I was attracted to a Gryffindor, no one specific of course, Lucius would never ever approve."

May smirked, "We'll see."

"Hey Y/n!" Charlie greeted as he slid into his spot beside you in potions.

"'Lo Weasley." You said.

"Why dont you ever call me Charlie?" He asked.

You were grinding a bunch of different things to make a certain potion for Rider who was in the Hospital Wing. But you stopped and glared at him when he asked. "You're lucky I'm even greeting you at all."

"Well then. I'm offended. Though it is true Miss Malfoy, your status far overreaches mine." He said with a little bow.

You suppressed a giggle, sometimes Charlie was charming. But only sometimes.

May burst into the room, "Professor! Madame Sprout found-" Then she tripped and the small jar she was holding flew out of her hands into your cauldron. Charlie caught her before she hit the floor and the boy in front of you sneezed, pushing back and spilling your potion.

"No!" You gasped and lunged for it, taking a little in your mouth and all over your robes as it fell down.

You turned to make sure Charlie had caught May and your eyes met his. Suddenly an overwhelming feeling took over you. His sapphire blue eyes were so beautiful, and his hair looked like fire in the light.

You blushed immediately when he noticed your stare. You saw no one but him as you walked forward to touch his hair. Then, in front of the whole classroom, you stood on your tippy toes and kissed him. When you pulled back he stared at you, confused.

May came over to him and whispered something in his ear. You stepped back and crossed your arms. "May you betrayed me. Charlie I thought you loved meh!"

Then you ran out of the room crying.

You sat huddled in a ball by the door. Charlie came over and crouched beside you. "Y/n what was that about."

"Charlie you came!" You flung your arms around him. "I looooove you."

To your surprise, Charlie shook your arms off gently, "no you dont. You're sick." He said

"Whatre you talking about?"

He sighed, "Just hope on my back."

"Piggy back ride?" You giggled, "I knew Charlie loved me."

You climbed on his back and he sped up to the Hospital Wing.

You woke up to May sitting beside your Hospital bed. You didn't remember anything.

"What happened?"

May laughed, "You really dont remember. I'd think you'd remember your first kiss with your soulmate."

"Uh oh." You said, then May burst into explanation. "And he didn't just keep me like that?" You asked after she finished.

"Of course not. Hes a Gryffindor they're so noble." She sighed, "I just wish you'd love him for it."

You blinked, "I need to see him." Then you hopped out of your bed and ran to Gryffindor Common Room after asking directions from a Ravenclaw boy.

You ran in and saw Charlie talking with his friends. He caught your eye and your feelings over whelmed you, why was your heart beating out of your chest.

"Y/n?" He asked.

Then you marched up and hugged him. Surprised, he froze. "Do you still have love potion in you?" He asked and you pulled away.

"No. But I'm sorry. I never should've just acted on what people always told me. That-that was the right thing to do. I, I cant believe you could've..." you cleared your throat. "Anyways, thank you."

Charlie smiled, "So I changed your mind?" In that moment, his smirk was so perfect, the mood was so right.

You didn't know what came over you, but you grabbed his tie and kissed him. "You changed me heart."
