Harry Potter x Reader: Amnesia part 2

You walked into the dark hospital wing, dim candles were lit beside every other bed. Harry was about the 7th one down. Fred, George and Ron followed behind you. You quickly walked to the 7th bed where Harry was sleeping peacefully. 

You placed your hands on your hips, "What did I tell you? He hasn't even woken up yet." 

"Y/n?" He moaned from the bed. 

All four of you turned to him. He smiled weakly. "Y/n. What took you so long baby?" He asked.

You could feel Fred and George's triumphant smiles. "I-uh what?" 

Harry looked at you confused, "I thought that you'd always be by my side. You promised." 

You crossed your arms, "When did I say that?" 

"Last year...after the labyrinth." He explained. 

*Flashback* 

Harry came out of the maze, trophy in one hand, Cedric's body in the other. You were the first one over to him. You tackled him to the ground. Cedric fell out of his left arm. "Don't you ever, ever do anything alone again." You breathed into his neck.

He hugged you back, "I can't let you get hurt. Your the most important thing in the world to me." 

"Harry I know your friends mean a lot to you, but promise me you won't go off on your own again." You begged. 

Harry hesitated. You pouted, "Fine then I promise you I'll never leave your side."

"But that was-I mean, I meant in times of danger. We're still at school we aren't in danger." 

Harry gave you a look. "Most of the danger happens here doesn't it?" 

"I thought you had amnesia." You pouted. 

Harry smiled, "What's amnesia?" He teased. 

"Harry James Potter! Did you make this whole scene up? You even got Madame Pomfrey in on it didn't you?" 

Harry blushed and tried to sit up. "Well, I thought I could keep it up but I guess not. I'd never forget you Y/n." 

You blushed and hoped it wasn't visible in the dark. No wonder Madame Pomfrey wasn't around. "Whatever, you would if you had actual amnesia." 

Harry shook his head, "No I wouldn't." 

Ron came up beside you, "He did start with amnesia. He didn't remember Hogwarts, or me or Hermione. Then Hermione mentioned you and Harry asked for you to come. As though you could bring his memory back. And you did." He said, putting a hand on your shoulder. 

"Liar. I expect you back in the common room tomorrow morning Harry Potter." 

Harry smirked, "Aw you missed me." 

"I was too busy in detention to miss you." 

You were about to walk out before you turned back around. "There's one thing that still confuses me. Why'd you pretend I was your girlfriend?" 

Harry smirked, "Because I hope someday I won't have to pretend. Man, I wanted to ask you in somewhere better than this, more dramatic but I suppose it'll have to do. It won't be a surprise any more I guess. Y/n I really like you, I don't want to be without you beside me. Will you be my girlfriend?" 

You smiled, "Potter that was so dramatic." You walked over beside him and brushed his bangs away from his forehead before kissing him. "Of course I will. I've been waiting since 2nd year for you to ask."
