Teddy Lupin x Reader: Tsundere

Hanging out, or rather hiding out in the library, you had just finished reading A History of Magic for the 4th time. There were barely any people in the library except for a blue-haired boy that you knew as Teddy Lupin. He came to the library regularly, although not as much as you. You came here because it was the only place you could go to get away from them. 

You didn't like to think of them as bullies, instead you just sort of thought of them as the antagonists in your story. Someday you would overcome them, after all, there were only 3.

Dinner came along and you headed out of the library, in the dining hall they were waiting for you. You tried to ignore them but the two bigger boys you'd gotten well acquainted with in the past 4 years you'd been at Hogwarts, each placed a hand on each of your shoulders. 

You sighed, "Excuse me, I'd like to go eat now." You took a leaf out of most of your favorite action novels, the protagonist always started with a sassy remark. 

Each of the boys laughed their stupid laughs. The skinnier boy with blonde hair and an extremely pale face walked up with his fancy cane that he kept his wand in at his side. "Sweet Y/n..."

"Hello Lucius." You said holding your head high. 

Lucius placed a hand under your chin, "How about sitting with us at the Slytherin table this evening?" 

"I think I'll stay at Ravenclaw thank you." Vincent and Gregory's hands tightened on your shoulders. 

"It's not a request." Lucius hissed. He removed his hand and grabbed your own with it. His hand was as always, cold and soft. 

You walked stiffly beside him, aware of the looks people were sending you. "Really I'm doing you a favor L/n. It's a shame you don't have a boyfriend, maybe if you stick with me, I'll let them whisper about us." 

"There is no us." You whispered. 

"I'll say it one more time. You don't have a boyfriend, nobody takes any interest in..." He brushed a hand through your hair. "Girls of your physique. Without me, you're no one." 

Stubbornly, you stared at the floor and didn't let a single tear burn your eyes, not yet.

The next day you went to the library and found a book written by an ordinary muggle. They come up with the most extraordinary tales. 

You tried keeping  your mind stuck in the book but your mind revolved around Lucius' words. Scorpio better not be anything like his older brother. Tears began tracing your cheek. You had no idea why. What should it matter you didn't have a boyfriend. Maybe you didn't want one. 

You were so caught up in your thoughts you didn't notice someone sit beside you. He caressed your cheek and at first you thought it was Lucius, but this hand was warm, his thumb wiped away your tear. 

You looked at him and smacked his hand away. He looked at you with a bewildered expression, "What?" 

"Don't touch me." 

He put his hands up. "What do you want anyways? Did Lucius recruit you? Is that why you're always in here? Spying?" 

He chuckled, "Something like that." 

"Get away from me you stalker." You pushed him away and he raised his hands again and walked out.

Later in the day you made sure to be sneaky as you left the library, you had run out of contacts and were reduced to wearing your dorky looking glasses. Maybe Lucius wouldn't recognize you with glasses. But you knew better, Lucius, being a close family friend was the only person who knew you had to wear glasses. 

You tried keeping your eyes down as you walked to the dining hall, but just as you grabbed a small plate of chicken, peas and your favorite fruit and were about to head to your common room to eat, someone tripped you. Everyone in the dining hall seemed to laugh, you fell flat on your face and had spilled your food all over yourself. 

"Haha, four eyes." They all seemed to say. 

Lucius walked up to you and all the chatter stopped. Everyone seemed to stare as Lucius offered you a hand. When you went to take it he pulled it back, "You aren't worthy...four-eyes." 

Everyone went back to laughing and teasing. You ran out of the hall and right into Teddy. He caught you as you almost fell again. "Woah, careful there Y/n." 

You shoved him and continued sprinting to the Ravenclaw Common Room.

You didn't want to come out the next day, you didn't have any friends not even in Ravenclaw. But you had classes to get to. You left in a hurry, your uniform all messed up and all your books were in your arms. 

Everyone seemed to laugh again as you passed them in the hall. You just continued staring at the ground, pretending you didn't know why they were laughing. Suddenly, someone took half of your books from the pile and began walking beside you. It was Lupin. 

"What are you doing?" You hissed. 

"Don't make a scene." He said, you noticed all the laughing had stopped when Teddy had gone to help you. 

"Look, it's that clumsy girl from the other night Teddy what're-" Someone started

Teddy cut them off with a glare. The two of you entered Transfiguration together and Teddy took a seat beside you. "You don't have to sit there." You said. 

"But I want to." You huffed.

Later, you were walking to the lake and trying not to notice the group of people following you. It seemed to be more than just Lucius, Vincent and Gregory. 

When you got to the lake, you looked back to see if they really were following you. "Hey Clutz. Why don't you fall in the lake and give us a show?" Lucius called. 

You bit your lip. "Where'd your glasses go four-eyes?" A girl from Slytherin asked. 

It was true that you were still technically out of contacts, but you'd preformed an invisibility charm on your glasses so that no one would tease you about them anymore. 

"Yeah, you should wear them more often to cover up that drab eye color." A different girl retorted. 

"It's no wonder she doesn't have a boyfriend." 

"Yeah, no boy would want someone that ugly." 

You were about to break into tears, you'd kept your head for the past 3 years, what's the point if it just gets worse. But then, someone came and put their arms around you and kissed your forehead. "Hey baby, are they bothering you?" Teddy asked. "Shove off you bloody tossers. She's my girl, and she's beautiful. Just 'cuz your jealous doesn't mean you have to make her feel worse." 

The girls scoffed, "There's no way you're her boyfriend. Nice try, but we aren't buying it." 

You were too shocked to do anything. Then Teddy did something that surprised you even more, he planted a kiss on your mouth. He lingered there for a little bit before pulling away, and when he did, you stared into his eyes and forgot all about the antagonists. 

When Teddy noticed they were gone he removed his arm, "Sorry."  He said.

He was about to turn away when you grabbed his sleeve and hugged him. "Thank you." 

He put a hand on your head. "So does that mean-" 

"NO!" You said. Then you giggled. 

"Oh, won't you just say yes." 

"Fine." You huffed and he ruffled your hair before walking away, hands in his pockets and he looked back just in time to see you do a little happy dance.
