A/n, this part will consist of 2 parts. If you choose Sirius, and if you choose James. Starting with Sirius.

Choosing Sirius:

You sat with Sirius, huddling in the rain. Shivering, both from the cold and the guilt of how you treated James even though it wasn't his fault.

Sirius never cried, but now, even disguised by the rain, you could tell he was crying. You were too. Although, now it was just from relief. No one hated you. It was the opposite. Sirius just liked you. You sighed into Sirius' robe and saw him smile.

"Come on, Y/n. We should go back up to the castle. I'll let you into Gryffindor Common Room." He said.

His arm around your shoulder, you headed into the castle. It was much warmer, and Sirius didn't take his arm off of you, but again, you didn't mind.

Black walked you up to the portrait and said the password. The fat lady was a little hesitant to let you in, but after you complimented her dress, you became one of her favorites.

Up in his room, you found Peter and James sitting on James' bed eating chocolate frogs. You felt the overwhelming guilt in your chest. You shook off Black's grip on your shoulders. "James." You said and he looked up. His eyes were a little swollen and you could tell he had cried.

"Y/n, what're you doing in here?" He asked, then his dark eyes settled on Sirius and his gaze both softened and glared at the same time. "With him..." He said.

Sirius bit his lip, his gaze equally conflicted. "I told her the truth. I-er, I didn't mean to James. I mean, I just didn't know."

"He apologized James." You cut Sirius off. "And I know it wasn't you. I'm sorry for thinking it was." You said smiling.

He smiled back at you. Sirius went into his closet and found some extra clothes. "Here, they're probably a little big for you, but they're smallest I could find." He said, tossing them to you. "Thank you." You said. And you passed to go change.

You came out in Sirius' clothes, the shirt was baggy on you, and you had to pull the belt as tight as it could go. But they were warm.

Sirius blushed when you came out and James was rubbing the back of his neck. Seeing them flustered brought color to your cheeks as well. "Thanks Sirius." You said.

He smiled. "It's nothing Love." He said. James gave him a look. What was going on?

"Not meaning to intrude, but what's going on with you two?" James bit his lip. And Sirius averted his gaze. So Peter answered.

"They both-um like you." He said between munching chocolate frogs.

Your eyes widened, shifting from both boys. "Really?" James nodded and Sirius shrugged.

"okay..." You waited.

At the same time the boys blurted, "Will you go out with me?" And they then glared at each other.

You tugged at the loose strands of Sirius' shirt. "I'm, sorry James, but I choose Sirius."

You said and a smile lit up his face, not the usual mischievous smirk, but instead a smile of pure happiness as he picked you up and spun you around. Placing you back on the floor and kissing you passionately. Who would've thought?

Choosing James:

You sat in the rain with Sirius, enclosed in his arms, but thought only of James. Of how awfully you had treated him. It had hurt saying those things to him. But it had hurt more knowing that James had stood up to his best friend for you.

"Sirius, I have to go apologize to James." You told him and he pulled away looking at you.

"Why?" He asked, his wet, curly hair dangling down.

"After he chased after me, I thought he was the one who had been pranking me. So I yelled at him, for no reason. He probably thinks I hate him now." You explained, your voice pained.

"Alright, I'll let you into Gryffindor Common room." He said. But before you even made it into the castle a figure came running out. It was James.

His glasses splattered with rain and his black hair tossing around on his head. "There he is." Black said. "Perfect timing as always."

James ignored him and grabbed your shoulders. "Y/n, I'm so sorry. Sorry, I didn't stand up for you sooner. And that I didn't stay with you and try to tell you the truth. And Y/n, I just like you-no love you so much I can't even-" You cut him off by putting a finger on his lips.

"James. Stop. You're perfect I know it's hard to stand up to your friends. Thank you for doing so. And no, you shouldn't have stayed with me, I would've only gotten more pissed. But now that you're here. I need to do something I should've done sooner." You said and you reached up and kissed him.

As if the weather matched your feelings, when James kissed you back, the clouds parted to reveal a rainbow. What a day!
