Teddy Lupin x Reader: Everybody Loves Teddy

"Y/n, please say you'll come!" Teddy begged. 

"I don't even know the rules, I'll be confused the whole time." You argued. 

Yes, you were a muggle-born witch in Ravenclaw. Your best friend-well your only friend was Teddy. But that was only because you were shy, not because you were a bad person or anything, you simply couldn't talk to people you didn't know. 

"But Y/n this is my first quidditch match." He gave you puppy eyes and you sighed. 

You really didn't want to go, but deep down you were afraid that Teddy would leave you. "Okay, fine." 

"Yay!" Teddy exclaimed, his hair turning a bright blue and hugged you quickly, "You won't regret it." Then he pulled something out of his satchel, "Oh and here, it explains the rules." He said handing you a book. 

You glared at him and he laughed, his eyes flashing a gold/green, "Just take it." 

You grabbed the book and dropped it in your bag. He smiled at you and you walked up to the dining hall.

The next morning you woke up to an empty room. You cursed, "The quidditch match." Of course your roommates hadn't woken you up, for one thing you never talked to them and for another they knew you never went to any of the matches. 

You dressed quickly, but instead of getting into your Ravenclaw robes, you dressed in the only red and yellow outfit you had to support Teddy. The game was Gryffindor versus Slytherin and Teddy was playing keeper. 

(I couldn't get the outfit to load sorry) You had gotten the scarf from Teddy, he had told you it was fine if you wore Ravenclaw attire as long as you had that, but you wanted to impress him. You ran down the several flights of stairs which was rather hard in your heeled boots. Then you sprinted out to the field, it was a perfect autumn day, the breeze was blowing and the sun was shining down on the players and spectators. You ran into the bleachers where Gryffindors and Gryffindor supporters sat. 

Teddy looked up and waved at you, you blushed and waved back. The game had only started 10 minutes ago and neither team had scored yet, but the Slytherin chasers were in possession. Teddy readied himself, the Slytherins were underestimating him. Although you'd never seen Teddy play, you had complete faith in him. One of them tossed the quaffle right at Teddy, he caught it easily and lobbed it at the Gryffindor chaser and captain Lavender Patil. She was a 6th year, two years older than Teddy and you. She raced through Slytherins and weaved through other Gryffindors, tossing it to a girl with curly red-brown hair. The girl shot the quaffle at the Slytherin keeper and scored. From behind the goal a Slytherin chaser grabbed the quaffle and began towards the Gryffindor goals. Teddy readied himself but a Gryffindor beater wacked a bludger at the Slytherin chaser, he was shocked and dropped the quaffle trying to dodge. He knocked it right into Frank Longbottom's waiting arms. He went forward a little before passing it back to Lavender. 

From across the field you noticed the Slytherin captain conversing with a beater as the Gryffindors scored again, the beater nodded and sped over to the other beater as Teddy kicked the quaffle away from the goal directly into Frank's arms. 

The beaters flew to opposite sides of the field, bludgers came soaring at the Slytherin seeker and chaser, each of the beaters smacked them away and directly at Teddy. You screamed and each bludger hit him, one in the leg and one in the chest. You pulled out your silver wand and screamed, "Aresto Momentum!" Pointing it at Teddy and the Gryffindor seeker caught the snitch just before Teddy froze in the air, slowing his landing before falling on the ground. Madame Pomfrey ran to his side along with the Gryffindor team. You saw the Slytherin team cursing, they had lost by a wopping 180-0 due to Teddy. You tried to get out of the bleachers to find Teddy but the crowd was too thick, you lost your glasses in the mass and by the time you shoved out of the crowd, Teddy was no where to be seen. 

A boy came up and tapped your shoulder. You jumped in surprise. He held out your glasses and you turned completely red it was a Slytherin boy, but he seemed nice enough. He had fixed your glasses with a charm and he handed it to you. He muttered something then sped away before you even got the chance to thank him. After standing alone on the field a few minutes, you remembered you were supposed to be seeing Teddy. 

You ran to the hospital wing, panting as you got there, "We need elevators." You said. 

"What's an elevator?" A girl asked, she was heading out of the hospital wing with her friend. She was a Ravenclaw like you and she looked around your age, her friend seemed to be a Hufflepuff a little younger than she. 

You turned red again, "Uh-" They walked away arm in arm and you shook your head and headed into the hospital wing where Teddy lie asleep. 

You sat beside him then you noticed something strange. Teddy's hair was a dark blonde and his face was the normal soft pearl color. You realized that this is what he would look like without his metamorphmagus ability. You took out a little camera from your bag and snapped a picture of him, you didn't know if even he knew what he looked like without his ability. 

You took his hand in yours and traced circles on the back of it with your thumb. You smiled at him, we was quite handsome. Wait, why were thinking that? Teddy's your best friend. He couldn't really be something more...could he?
